I’ve been here a few times in the last month. Each time I got things. Good things I think. A couple bags that look brand new, no stains no debris. A shirt that looks like it was barely worn, and an old cassette stereo I splurged on for $8 to play my ancient tapes on. It works like it was taken well care of. The prices on some stuff certainly can be high, however the quality on things seemed higher than what I find at Goodwill a vast majority of the time too. If you know how to shop at a place like this and have some time to nitpick you can find some goodies. It’s still a thrift store though, and there’s always going to be actual junk, particularly on the wall of bagged items, or things that look like a win but aren’t. They had 3 portable DVD players with the built in screen for less than $20 each but none had cords, well I brought one to test them, and not one worked properly! Sad. Next week all 3 were gone. It’s tough to give a low review to a place that has been successful for me despite others complaining. It’s a treasure hunting store. I got lucky each time I came in. I’ll keep coming until it fails...
Read moreI honestly don’t know who’s coming up with the prices at this location, but they’re completely unrealistic. I’ve shopped at Savers across several states, and nowhere have I seen prices this inflated. A single tea cup marked at $25.99? A beat-up vintage radio for $89.99—and it didn’t even work when I managed to test it? Thrift stores are supposed to offer bargains, not compete with overpriced online resellers.
It’s frustrating to see this trend spreading—items that should be affordable are now being marked up beyond reason. Even basic clothing is priced higher than brand-new pieces on Amazon, and there was a fake Gucci shirt zip-tied to the wall for over $100.
Sure, you might find the occasional fair deal if you dig long enough, but overall the pricing here completely misses the point of what a thrift...
Read moreThis thrift is large with lots of great items. I'm shocked at the high prices, especially since all these items are donated. Some prices are ridiculous. I can literally go to DD's, Ross, or Marshalls and buy an item brand new for the price Savers puts for used donated items. Even yard sales, swap meets, market place, & offerup have better used item prices. It's only worth buying with the 50% off for certain color tagged items. Savers, if you're prices where more reasonable, you'd sell more and would restock faster as donations come in. I've seen overpriced Thrifts & less customers (within time) due to their overpriced reputations, which leads to a cramp messy place because they're restocking faster than they can sell. Who ever is making price decisions, please do better. Posting 3 star...
