Makkah Market — Local services in Los Angeles

This is my go to meat market....Alhamdulillaah I love supporting the Muslims... what prompted me to start going to Makkah Market consistently was that they proudly display that they are closed for Salat al-Jumu'ah! They show understanding to the importance of leaving business to worship Allaah at that weekly time... Service is always great and everyone is professional and courteous... it's very convenient to order meat ahead and have it cut just how you want it... they also have a wide variety of spices, breads and other things I usually need... JazakumAllaahu khair, may Allaah continue to bless...

COVID-19 precautions seem to be in place as of March 2022. This market also is preparing and selling warm meals; like in a food court.

I will report once we have had our first meal from there.

Parking is easy. It’s in the strip mall. There are quite a variety of ethnic shops and restaurants around it.

Take out only, but they do have a couple tables and chairs in front of the market. You can order the food in the back of the market. It’s wasnt the best, but decent. The Chicken Tikka I ordered was bland and dry. The wrap was pretty good though. As far as groceries, they have the basic grocery items and meats are fresh and you can have the butcher cut it your liking. The employees are very friendly and helpful.
