It can easily become a habit. Great healthy and delicious food. Interestingly served. First you get a few appetizers/condiments . Then the boiling hot caldron of organic tofu soup. You order it as spicy as you want it. They bring a raw egg, that if you want it's cracked and put in the, soup to cook. Then they bring stone steamed rice that is skillfully served in a stainless bowl. And your main course that you eat with the rice (they even have brown rice now.) It is more than a great meal. It is an experience. Its always 99% +Korean diners. I always wonder why not more non Koreans come to enjoy. A great dinner in a not too great atmosphere... but I thing the food more than makes up for the lack of decor. You just concentrate in your eating experience and on the people you are with. Order from the special combos on the wall for an even less expensive meal, but as good and satisfying as from the menu. I do miss a glass of,wine or a Korean beer that they have at other locations, but not in Torrance. Come hungry. You will feel satisfied and know you've eaten healthy and delicious. And you will be...

I went to BCD to enjoy some tofu as I entered I was greeted and I ordered. I said I wanted to eat the food there not to go. The waiter brought me some tea as I waited for the food. She said the food would take ten minutes I said that's fine. Another waiter brought out the food in a to go bag . I told her I'm sorry but it's to eat here at the restaurant , she took the bag back to the register. I thought she was going to place on a plate ... instead another waiter came back with the bag and said "you go"... I told her no it's for here ... she stood there and told me to leave. I am very disappointed by the way this was handled and I even tipped when I was charged. I was charged as soon as I sat down as well , I'm not sure if that's how they work but I didn't really think anything about it. I don't recommend this establishment, it seemed that if you are not Korean than you are not welcome there. I should have went to Gardena tofu spots where I'm always welcome...

Service: You will receive best service when the manger is overseeing the floor. Interestingly, during the non-busy hours (2pm - 5pm), the service is not very good. The manager is not present and the servers are not very attentive. I recommend visiting the place 30 minutes prior to the busy hours (11:30am for lunch time and 5:30pm for dinner time).

Food: Generally, the food is good. However, it is bit salty, especially during non-busy hours. If you are okay with salty food, you will not have any issues with food.

Parking: During busy hours, the parking is terrible. Although the restaurant is located in the strip mall, it is very difficult to find the parking during busy hours.

Overall, good place to go if you want to experience Korean soft Tofu stew. Don't expect food to be served quickly. The hot stone rice and soft Tofu need time. Expect to spend about 45 minutes to 60 minutes, including waiting time for food...

Highly recommend this place. Shortly after going over to this place, my partner and I fell in love with the food and staff’s hospitality. There’s about 20+ tables and the wait times are typically short. On a Saturday night, just expect about 30min of wait time. The moment you get seated, they bring you side dishes including the pickled cucumber and kimchi, with a small fish. The galbi dish with spicy beef soup is sensational! They serve it hot in a cast iron and you can hear it sizzle!! We always see the same staff working hard throughout the floor. Our favorite person is Sunny and she’s very helpful.

I’ve been a regular customer of this long-established restaurant for about 15 years. Recently, I visited for lunch after a long time. One of the highlights of this place is that the rice is always freshly cooked. The bone-in short ribs are slightly sweet, tender, and delicious. The service from the staff is impeccable; they are very sincere and attentive, ensuring that napkins are replenished and to-go boxes are provided without any wait. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean, and overall, it’s a highly satisfying Korean restaurant.

Loved this place , my go to for my Seafood Spicy Soon tofu cravings. Very happy they are back to dine in now! Edit: After going there more often , I realized the service went way down: No- hello, how are you. No- would you like an egg in your soon tofu , and add it for me. No- here is tea for your crispy rice. They just ask how many people and bring food out while figuring out online order mistakes. Kinda sad, when paying 25 bux for an experience like this. Spicey seafood and a 7-up
