let me start by saying that I really hate to give a business a bad review, however customer service treatment was so appallingly awful and Non-Stop high intensity rude in my face, that I simply had to leave this review. So before I go into the details of what happened let me have you go to this restaurant listing on Google and click to go to their website and then click on the menu button. this is something I'm sure you've done many times before as I have done this myself many many times before which is nothing out of the ordinary except that the prices on this menu are incorrect. When I came to pick up my order the total price on the check was at least 30% higher. I've looked on the receipt and on the online menu to compare and short enough the price differential was about four or five dollars on what should have been approximately $18 order wasn't fun about $23 and some change. The young gentleman that was handling the duties of a waiter / cashier, explain to me that the online menu was old and that they have new prices printed on a pamphlet inside the restaurant. sure wish I said well that's great however I placed an order based on the online menu that is still popping up on your website as being current therefore I had no idea and that they should honor those prices. now look I understand the prices change and that is fine however as a business you have to be transparent to your customers and update information in a timely manner otherwise what's the point? if you see an advertised price for example, it could be anything a guitar or a car and you come in thinking that it will cost one price only to have the customer service representative do a bait-and-switch type of technique to tell you that it's going to be 10, 20 or 30% more than what it is listed on your business website for all public to see. And if this was not enough the young gentleman was extremely rude simply out of his mind arguing to me the fact that he is only an employee that has no control over the website and that he has told the owners numerous times to make those changes and that he was frustrated himself and again that he has nothing to do with this and that I was making his evening on purpose unbearable. while protesting he went on to call the owner who was some sort of a female on the phone basically making same stupid excuses and almost begging me to understand did they need needed to raise the prices. I told her that I have no problem with them raising prices and that going forward if the food was good I would have no problem paying their new prices, however for today please honor the price that I was expecting which is currently listed on your websites menu. the lady on the phone was rude as well in the fact that she absolutely was not hearing anything that I was saying and simply repeating over and over her stupid excuses which have nothing to do with me as a customer and if you have any decency and you know how to run your business properly and you know what good customer service is then you honor what you offer on your website. in the end the lady simply hung up the phone, the cashier gentleman continue with the same shenanigans rudeness and simply nonsense. It went way past my tolerance level of being patient and buy that boy names MeetMe feel like I have bad taste in my mouth. So I simply left. So everyone Please be aware as it seems that there has been management or ownership change and not sure how their food tastes, perhaps it is the best in the world but what this of shenanigans and lack of customer service you guys are going to be closing your doors sooner rather than later. as you can see these folks really got under my skin, as this was completely unnecessary to act in such poor fashion towards your customer, who Not only would have come back time and time again but referred more clients your way instead of writing this long negative review. I honestly have been treated better in third world countries and I hope this will be a wake-up call for the owner and the management...
Read moreIm going to leave a separate comment for the food because I’ve yet to taste it… however the customer service 😖😖😖 Absolutely Cringe worthy, it’s obvious nepotism is happening because she has no absolute understanding on how to treat people and customers.
I had a Uber eats Oder I order online for pick up, upon arrival I came in and informed my voice is almost gone however I have a pickup order and she ignored me because she couldn’t hear me and went to deliver food. I politely said excuse me, she came back and I told her once again I can barely speak but she cuts me off and says what do you want. Lol by this I’m high irritated however she doesn’t need to see that.
So I showed her via text she grabs my food it was ready for a while so she left standing me there for no reason. the broth didn’t have the lid on all the way, it spilled all over my rental car… immediately I returned and she cut me off saying call Uber eats and I said why? She said because the customer needs a refund and I said I am the customer and I’d like two new broths. That’s it… she is being rude about where I set the food and touching and snatching it out my hand…. I literally had to say Briana she is almost fifty, this is someone’s grandmother… whooosaaaa
She goes ok we remake it all, I’m like it’s better for your food cost to give me the broth I don’t need the rest really…lol she ignored me told me twenty minutesss… After twenty minutes I return and she makes me wait with the order in my face again while she does small table touches Lolol Im Like Jesús help her… so she comes back to start bagging my food, I politely requested that she separated the bag this time… man she caught the biggest attitude again and in front of guest told me to package it myself.. I was beyond shock almost started to take it personal lol so I said ok and began to and she starts making side comments I said please thank you I can do it… and whats your name?
Her name is Yukiko or...
Read moreFirst time visiting Ajido with my coworker and we absolutely loved it!
The food was very flavorful and delicious. The service was even better! I ordered the #5 Shisen Paiko Ramen ("paiko" is fried pork) with a topping of tatsuta deep fried chicken. Also, there are different levels of spice. I ordered my ramen with spice level #3 which is supposed to be the spiciest and I found it to be a decent level of heat. Not at all overwhelming. I also tried the jelly fish, fried squid legs, and sweet & sour paiko appetizers and found the fried squid legs to be a favorite. We were extremely satisfied with the food that we found ourselves still eating even though we were already full!
I, unfortunately, did not catch our server's name, but she seemed to possibly be a manager or even owner of Ajido. Truly received some of the best service I've ever experienced in any restaurant setting. Although she was very busy and was the ONLY employee serving Ajido's customers, she still made sure to check on us and was very apologetic for how busy she was even though it was not her fault. I will add as well that even though it was somewhat busy the wait for our food was minimal. She made an already great first-time experience even better.
Side note: The place is not the biggest so expect to sit next to other patrons and/or wait around 15 minutes to be seated during busy times. That being said, the smaller size of the place definitely adds to the atmosphere and makes it a cozy and...
