I don't often leave negative reviews but I'm honestly really frustrated having wasted over $80 on trash. I bought two mulberries for almost $10 each; I even waited for them to bring the "fresh" batch instead of taking whatever was left on the floor. After being in my fridge for less than one day, both mulberries were moldy. I only got to eat like 3 pieces the day I brought it, and honestly, they didn't even seem fresh to begin with. I also bought sour plums from them and they tasted weird, not like the ones I had bought from Q Market (the entire bag was perfect). Their pickled turnips were also leaking and not properly sealed, making me wary about the freshness. I also bought some pastries from the bakery: vanilla strawberry cake, napoleon, eclair, and a pistachio cake. They ALL tasted weird and totally not fresh. I can't believe I spent $4+ on each pastry only for it to be stale and taste gross. Only the eclair was somewhat okay, but definitely not the best I've ever had. I honestly will never come back here. I want to go get my money back but I also don't want to deal with them, because the comments are right, the employees are in fact rude. I tried to help one employee while she was bringing the new box of mulberries by removing the bottom box and she yelled NO at me. I was so caught off guard. You couldn't have said it in a different way? I literally walked up to her and said "let me help you". What the hell? Lastly, prices are atrocious. I spent $5 for a small pack of lavash, which was probably the best item I bought here, but too expensive nonetheless. Save your money and go...
Read moreIâve been coming to this nice store since I moved out of home and started attending college. Itâs sad that every time I come in Iâve never been greeted in appreciation as a customer. sometimes Iâm waiting at the butchers section for meats and the men working there help the Armenian speaking people before me. All this Iâve tolerated because I just liked their cuts, even if sometimes they have not been fresh. Plus, it was close to home.
Well TodayI had the most awful experience in this establishment. While I was waiting to pay my groceries. The cashier was assisting a customer in front of me. When some other employee comes from behind, points at me to the cashier and mumbles Something and the wordâMexican,â to her. The lady did not even acknowledge me or smiled or just about anything. She seemed unwilling to help me. This infuriated me, made me boil that I couldnât even make my purchase. I left the groceries to them.
Clearly, the people in this establishment has not been educated about cultures. Because you look of Latin American heritage it doesnât make someone a Mexican. Just like when someone looks like an Armenian it doesnât make them of Turkish descent. Itâs the same comparison.
This store should educate their employees to be more respectful to their customers. Itâs what makes them make profit or in the end exist as a business. I will be taking my business to an English speaking American...
Read moreAvoid this place or be very careful & check your receipt EVERY SINGLE TIME: They steal by adding prices or adding items you havenât bought to your receipt. It happened to me 4 times. If it happens 1 time it can be a mistake. But happening over & over? Not a mistake. I have had $50, $80, ,$40,& .. added by MISTAKE to my recipt. When I caught it, they said sorry it was a mistake. But after it repeated many times, I realized itâs their trick. They know many people are in a rush & they donât check receipts.
They are 3 times more expensive than other places, & yet they try to steal from you more by making INNOCENT mistakes on the receipt.
Cashiers & workers here are EXTREMELY rude & mean. I was shopping with my baby in his stroller, & the cashier lady harassed me & talked to me really rudely bc I used the stroller to put the stuff in!! She insisted I should use a cart!! At the same time of pushing a stroller??!!
They donât deserve your business or mine. Save your money & dignity. shop...
