I am currently renting to own a gaming computer, and have for a few months now. I must say in terms of Rent 2 Owns they offer the BEST gaming computers. They actually offer some decent gaming rigs and you can compare them to all the other rent 2 own stores and they do offer much better gaming PCs.

Your obviously going to pay a ridiculous price for everything after it is all said and done but that is the general nature of rent 2 own stores so you can't really complain about that. They definitely are going to make money off of you.

None of this I have a problem with, I know what I signed up for. The problem I have is with the payments.. Before they would order my gaming pc I had to come in and put money on my account, which is fine I put $100 on my account so they can order it. It actually came in really quick within a week. No issues so far. When you create your account you have to show your paystubs for which I did. The problem is they have yet to still fix my payments correctly. They started by putting me weekly payments (I get paid bi-weekly). I call after that first payment and they "fix" it. They don't fix it though. It's still an on going issue now. I'm paying late fees because they NEVER have set my payments up correctly. I've contacted them a few times because they will try and bully you and will hound you over your payment even though I try and explain to them that I don't get paid until.. whatever date. They tell me to just let them know when I pay it and contact them back and they will get it worked out.

I contact them after I was paid and paid my payment and then I'm told I will need to pay the difference to get the payment pushed back correctly. The payment they never had correct in the first place.. I have no issue paying. I always pay online because I don't want to deal with them but I constantly get hounded and bullied into paying my payment that was never setup correctly to begin with.

BUT HEY! If you want to get your payment correct that we never had correct to begin with you need to give us more money.. of course. MORE MONEY. I have no issue losing my butt on my gaming rig, like I said I KNEW what I signed up for. I do not appreciate them hounding me and trying to bully me into paying when they NEVER have had my payments setup correctly to begin with.. I've told them before when they text me I don't get paid until this date.. They just say well your gonna have to pay up until at least this week or whatever. So I'm just paying late fees all the time because they can't figure out my paycheck dates even after me giving them the exact dates for my paydays for the next 6 months and even offering them my paystubs.

I like the gaming computer. I hate the hounding and the bullying to try and collect payment. I literally pay EVERY payday online. They would NEVER even have to hear from me if it was setup correctly.. I do not recommend purchasing from RENT-2-OWN. I always pay on my paydays no issues but hey, I keep paying late fees..

UPDATE: Returned the gaming computer in November 2023. Will not be using this...

Would not recommend even my worst enemy ho here! We hit a rough patch and got to 6 days past due and they started coming to my house and harassing me non stop. They even looked me up on facebook and started messaging me. It was by far the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I had ever had. I would never recommend anyone ever go there. In the future if I ever want to buy anything by renting it I will take my business to Aaron's in Huntington. Their prices are better, they work with you, they don't call and harass you and your references several times a day and come to pick up their stuff at 6 days past due. I literally have never in my life been treated the way that I have by anybody let alone a company. If there is even a possibility that you could fall behind by even just a day because 1 day late is when they start calling you and if you are working and cannot answer the phone they will call your references and tell them that you are behind and need to call them now, or if your pay is random and you aren't able to pay each and every week exactly on the day it is due then do not go here. Also, if you do go there, when you do pay SAVE YOUR RECIEPTS! There were several times we paid more than what we were supposed to then were told we didn't pay the amount we had and for some of them I had my bank statement pulled up on my phone and could prove it but we made the mistake of paying most payments in cash and we're told there was nothing we could...

Really awesome people at Rent 2 Own in Louisa they go above and beyond for their customers if they dont have something you want they will get it for you and they have easy affordable payment plans that work for you but if you get in a bind they are nice, kind, sweet and caring people that will work with you so to me they are pretty awesome people that rock but dont take my word for it go check them out for yourself and I bet you wont be disappointed I love my Rent 2 Own family at Louisa 😘 just wanted to add that Deanna Evans is very helpful and she has helped us out alot I know we can be a pain but she has been so kind, friendly and helpful throughout the whole process we love her and the whole rent 2...
