Got a wedding ring repair done , a tiny diamond replaced , prongs repaired …. ‘She’ insisted to solder rings together , went back for another problem with same ring - prongs kept catching my clothes & hair - they were sharp and needed to be fixed again .. ‘She’ buffed them …hmmmm . At the same time took my husbands ring in to be repaired , My husband bought me a necklace for Christmas and the chain was to SHORT - ( note they do not carry 20 inch chains ) So I’m hoping to just exchange the chain for a bigger one ( I would be more than happy to pay the difference ) or even get a chain extender ,,,,, well , ‘she’ said oh no You have a barrel clasp on that , we would have to take off the existing one put a new clasp on it - then get the chain extender ( for an additional price ) …. So much more to the story …. Just to let y’all know , ‘she ‘ young girl , WAS VERY LOUD , OBNOXIOUS AND VERY RUDE !!!!! I only went there because it was a small hometown business ….. Well that WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN !!!!! Note people : Take you hard earned money somewhere where they APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS .. And are HAPPY TO HELP YOU !!!!! Never go back...

If anyone is looking for a jeweller, someone they can trust with their rings, necklaces or what ever you may need cleaned, fixed or just looking for something new go to Rea's Jewlers in Louisville and ask for George! I cant say enough about this place! For the 1980's to now they have never disappointed us. They take pride in what they do and are very honest and wonderful ppl!! My necklace I have worn for 10 years (not even a handful of times has it left my neck) was very dirty and my chain was broke (I didnt know) it was also getting warn from the 10 years of wearing. George took the time to fix it all and make it look bran new!!!! Its amazing looking now an I couldnt be happier! THANK YOU!! YOU ALL...

I went to Rae's to get a new battery in my watch. They installed a battery and crossthreaded the back of the watch when they installed it . Now my watch isn't waterproof anymore more. When I went back to confront them, they lied to me and told me when a watch gets older it loses its seal. I will never go back to them and suggest that nobody else...
