Poor Management, seriously understaffed, bad customer service & not well trained. Whoever is the regional/district manager should be embarrassed to run one of the stores or numerous stores if any, that is running under "thin ice."
I ordered a book online since I've accidentally ordered the same book twice from both the bookstore and amazon. I've decided to return the duplicated book for one of my classes.
On January 24, 2017, I placed an order for a used book for one of my classes. Once the order was placed, the website told me to wait for a confirmation email that I placed an order. I went there last night, told me they haven't send me the email yet. Went there again today, and I completely got fed up and asked for a manager at the store. The manager told me that my order is sent to 1,200 stores...ACROSS THE USA AND CANADA!!!
WHY WOULD THE COMPANY SEND AN ONLINE ORDER OF 1 BOOK TO 1,200 ** STORES? TO PISS ME OFF?!!!
I couldn't wait anymore and decided just to buy a book at the store.
Like I said, the associates are bad, the managers just doesn't care. I only come to buy books, but apparently they just can't meet the demands for the customer.
Update: 1/30/18 Bookstore charged me $67.12 for a book I rented for around $35. What is wrong with this bookstore? People not doing their jobs properly? I asked to cancel the order but the lady on the phone that I spoke with said that the book that I am renting is apparently new and nobody told me about it. Also the lady told me that the new rental book STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED YET! as well as the other rental books I have rented for this semester is STILL NOT READY TO BE PICKED UP!!!!! Read moreI’m a summer graduate so Latin Honor doesn’t officially appear on my name card, but I have an email from the registrar basically confirming that I’m eligible for the cords. I live 30 minuntes away from the bookstore. I called ahead of time if I could pick up my Latin cords, explaining my special circumstance. The staff over the phone said it should be okay if I showed the email from the registrar. When I went to pick it up, the staff there gave me a hard time. One of the them didn’t even bother to hear me out. She was especially rude and inconsiderate. Every time I tried to explain the situation, she cuts me off. Read moreI had the worst experience dealing with the employees.of the bookstore. First they don't communicate their customers problems with other staff. I called multiple times over several weeks to sort out an issue and I had to reexplain my issue everytime because there was no documentation. Second, don't leave a voicemail because it they won't return your call for 3 weeks. Finally, they have no empathy or sympathy for other humans. They messed up on their side and couldn't no admit fault and send me a book that was rightfully mine. I went 5 weeks into an online Chemistry class without a book because of their mistakes.
