Find's Furniture — Local services in Lower Township

We arrived at our new condo on "move in day", and received a phone call from Find's just as we pulled up in front of the place. They were due to deliver the furniture in about an hour, and they were fully aware that they were our only source of furniture. They informed me on the phone that they were unable to deliver the items on the scheduled day (Thursday) and would not be able to get it there until Sunday. Apparently, their delivery guy had covid, and they only have one? When I told them that this was not acceptable, the man who claimed to be the owner said, "Well, I'm 50 years old. You can't expect ME to move furniture!" Since I am also 50 years old, I let him know that sleeping on the floor was likewise off the table for me! They eventually agreed to bring the furniture, but not to assemble it. They brought it INTO the condo but stopped there. My husband and our landlord built the pyramid bunk, which took them almost two hours. We also discovered that we should have gotten a "low profile" box spring for our bed, but were never told this. So, it would seem that they are good at selling things, but no so good at delivering and setting up. If you're looking for a low-stress experience, I would not suggest them.

We are furnishing a newly renovated condo in Wildwood, and were having trouble finding furniture that fit the style we wanted, was reasonably priced, and was available! Thank Heaven we found Find's. Our salesman was helpful but also let us look at our own pace, and was not pushy. We ended up buying a couch, armchair, bed, bunk bed, and mattresses. They were willing to wait until our place is ready to deliver it, and the delivery includes them assembling the furniture. We...

15 days to get mattresses. We were told it would be up to 10 days. I called early Friday and was told my delivery would be on Monday. I called later on Friday to see what time my delivery was going to be on Monday. I was told the schedule is made at 3: 30 - 4:00. I called them to find out the time and they were closed. I called them today (Monday) and was told they were coming into their store today and we'll have to work at a delivery date. I mentioned how I was told on Friday that delivery would be done. after being put on hold briefly I was told my delivery would be between 2pm and 4 pm. 4:45pm no mattresses, no courtesy call. 5 days late and not one call from them to explain why they were 5 days late or why they weren't here during the scheduled time. Needless to say. I called and cancelled my order. I guess they didn't think my $900 worth of business was worthy of simple courtesy. One phone call and I wouldn't have had a problem with anything. I wish i could give 0 stars. Please listen to all of the other reviews. I moved from my parents home right across the street from Finds Furniture into a house in Mays Landing. We purchased our Furniture 3 weeks prior to moving into our home to ensure we would have it. We were told they would hold the items on the floor for us, but since there was time they would try to order them new from their distributor. We offered to pick up the furniture with our UHaul on move in day, but they assured us delivery is best because then it will get assembled and will be less work for us. They ended up not holding the stuff on the floor and showed up to my house 2 weeks AFTER move in with the wrong couch and a chipped up table. They tried to tell me I was mistaken on the couch, but I had a photo of what i ordered. I had to take a day off of work for delivery because they told me my only option was Tuesday-Thursday 11am-1pm. A whole day off of work and I ended up with no furniture. Got my money back and went to Bob’s Discount Furniture and got better quality items for half...
