My son and I drove to Lunenburg from Worcester Sat. October 31, 2020 after seeing a online add about Old Vinyl Albums which we like to collect, It’s was our first time there, upon arrival we walked in , were greeted nicely by a young woman behind the register, we were walking around looking for the record section, when approached by a older man, who i assumed was the owner, i told him we drove from Worcester, and we were interested in the Albums they had for sale. He said he had a few locations in the store where the album’s were located, i thanked him and we went on way. We found the 1st location, there were about 5 bins of albums, my son and I went through them , picking out 2-3 albums, the man came up to us and said “are you done, i’ll take those for you” i replied no thanks were still looking, the man walked away, we went to another location where we were told we could find albums, we went through them choosing another 3 albums, again, the man came up to us and said “can i take those for you” again i said , we’re still shopping, it’s our 1st time in this store, it has a lot of cool stuff, reasonably priced, we just wanted to look around, we then proceed to another location we were told they were albums, we noticed the man following us, we went about our business, picked another 2 albums, as soon as we did he came up to us, and said” I have to take those up to the register for you, and take them out of the computer, before you buy them, he actually took them out of my hands and proceeded up to the register. I looked at my 13 yr old son, he looked at me and Said” He thinks we’re going to steal them , doesn’t he” I said it sure appears that way. At that time i really wanted to just leave and tell him to shove the albums up his Axx! But my son was excited about the albums he had chosen, i kept my mouth shut! My son then liked a little pocket knife that was for sale for 14 dollars,, again, there’s this man looking around the corner to make sure my son didn’t try to steal it! I’m sorry to say, even though the store has a lot of nice, reasonably priced stuff, cool stuff, I’ll never go back, I could have easily spent $300-$400 on other stuff we spotted in the store besides albums, paid cash for it, but i don’t like being treated like a criminal and most importantly my son being treated that way, by a man who has know idea who we are, how hard i work for what i got, i don’t have to steal, nor does my son. If your a new comer to this place watch out, you’ll be followed around for no reason. It was a horrible experience and feeling!...
Read moreMe and my friends love Jeffery’s antiques. The layout is perfect, correct me if I’m wrong, but people buy spaces and decorate them to sell. It seems their collections always match or work in such a way that browsing make you feel like you’re really going through little corners and corridors of time. Whether you’re looking for that small thing to finish a mantle piece at home, or you want to help reuse great things that already exist, or maybe you just love looking at vintage goodies, I would definitely add Jeffery’s to your antiquing list. Be prepared to spend some time here, It’s...
Read moreIt’s so good I almost don’t want to tell you about it. My happy escape when I look at the state of the world and think “stop the ride, I wanna get off.” The sheer amount of treasures I’ve hauled home from this gem of a place is incredible. The amount of times I’ve had to tell folks, “Oh, this? This awesome (insert unique find here)?? I got it at Jeffrey’s.” I should be on commission for Pete’s sake. In fact, just forget it. You didn’t hear this from me....
