I thought the Walmart on 146 in Worcester was bad. The guy behind the counter & the woman manager of the car center we're absolutely Clueless and had no idea what they were doing. So I purchased a set of 4 brand new tires online. Now before I purchased the tires i made sure that I did my research to get the best tires I could for my vehicle. So the tires that I purchased are the original tires that come with my car from the factory when the car is purchased brand new. So I showed up to the Lunenburg Walmart and told them what I was there for. I just needed the tires mounted and balanced . She looked look up my vehicle and tire information then told me they couldn't be mounted because the tires that I had don't belong on my vehicle. Now I didn't have any special rims or any crazy size tire. I had a regular pair of all seasons size 215/55/R17 on my oem rims, which is a pretty common size. So I pulled up the information on my phone while I was right in front of them at the counter. I proceeded to show them the information and they refused. Then they began to speak to me as if I was an idiot and I had no idea what I was talking about. But I'm sure I was more mechanically inclined than they are seeing that I do my own work on my vehicle. I was completely dumbfounded and in disbelief with the stupidity that I had to deal with. So before cursing anyone out I decided to say thank you for the help and I politely left. So I ended up going to a real tire place and I had them mounted and balanced with no problems. I mentioned the situation to the place that I went to and with a surprising response they told me they had a couple of other customers with the same issue at that same Walmart when it came to purchasing tires and having them mounted and balanced. It was almost as if they didn't want to mount them and balance them because I didn't buy the tires there if I had to take a guess it's either that or pure stupidity. I will never go...
Read moreI called ahead and checked for tire availability, asked to reserve them and booked an appointment. I showed up almost an hour early to drop off. They told me it should take about 30-45 minutes. I went shopping for about hour and a half then checked in. Michael O. told me they were almost done and the tire I was looking to have mounted was swapped for a different tire. The original tire that I called for wasn't reserved and only 3 were available. So they picked a similar priced tire which was $1 cheaper. But, they didn't call me to ask me first and just went ahead in mounting them. Problem, I was looking for an all-terrain tire for my truck but they thought that didn't matter and slapped on an all-season. No one wanted to fix this issue and walked away. I went to customer service to track down a manager. Someone walked back to the auto service to try to resolve this. The staff came out with 1 all-terrain tire and said that it's the only one they have. It was an even cheaper tire and they reduced the price by $10. I had no options and I was already stuck there for 3 and 1/2 hours. So, when it was finally finished I just paid and wanted to leave right away. I didn't blow up or ack out on anyone, I stayed calm as possible even though they took over 5 and 1/2 hours of my time and gave me only a $40 discount for my inconvenience. I have no idea where they find their store associates but these people are just wandering around like they have no idea where the hell they are or why they're even there. Don't bother calling because they will just go ahead and put you on hold and supposedly connect you to the Department you're looking 4 and then you will either wait on the line for 20 to 25 minutes or someone will answer in that department and just hang up, or my personal favorite you get put on hold for over 20 minutes and they just never come back. I called ahead of time and ask the girl who answer the telephone if there was any way that somebody could put aside a few different sizes of photo printer paper for me as my girlfriend would be in within the next few hours to pick it up. While I was talking to this girl she was having a full-on conversation with another person and when I said hello, she just said oh sorry, now what was it that you needed? After I had already explained what I needed not once, but twice. Then of course my girlfriend goes in to pick up what they had supposedly put aside for us and of course nobody ever did that.
