Lutz Ace — Local services in Lutz

This Ace is different from the other Ace chain stores in that it also has 2 additional stores inside it; one for pool supplies and one for gifts. The "other" stores have their own operating hours (for example, the gift store was closed on Sunday when I visited). The rest of it is a traditional Ace hardware store with a broad line of home improvement, maintenance, farming, feed, etc. inventory. I was looking for one specific thing that a magazine ad said Ace carries. I showed the man at the cash register the ad and he gave me immediate concise and accurate directions to the exact product location. He knows this store, for sure. I love to find gadgets and gizmos at Ace, unique, interesting items that you don't find in Lowes or Home Depot. I found such an item this trip, too. My "Ella Boutique" ♡ located inside Lutz Ace Hardware. Small business owners, Scott & Tina, have created this little boutique & over the years it has been my "best kept secret" for oneofakind gifts. Today Ella was my one stop shop for a "Get Well" "Going Away"~ "Engagement" & adorbs stocking stuffers (original, well made socks, 3 pr for $15.00, every gift for each occasion, no one will see anywhere else! The inventory is ALWAYS fresh & new. I ALWAYS have a 5+++ Star shopping experience. BUT as a loyalty program member & HUGE supporter of Ella from day 1, my coupons are no longer being honored on this side of the store! 😣 My ladies, Jenn & Denise (I hope the names are correct!) were awesome, as usu, but had to break the bad news to me. Make no mistake, I'm a loyal customer & shall remain one, ALWAYS! I'm just...disappointed, that's all! Cannot WAIT to see what Tina has coming in...

Terrible customer service by the manager! i’m not one to leave reviews but after the exchange with this guy i had to leave one. I went in today to up grade a father’s day gift. when i went to do the exchange i was asked if i had receipt and i replied no but asked he he could look it up. he arrogantly took it, scanned it and says yes we sell these for $49 I ended up leaving came home and then realized they could look it up by my rewards # so i went back and got a full refund he ended up losing the original sale plus I was going to upgrade to another $50 plus other material I was going to buy. when I left, I told the manager I will not be back. His reply was OK, and my reply back to him was yes I’m sure it’s OK since it’s not your business.
