July 2025: Been here tons of times, it's one of our regular hangouts. Love their specials. Tonight was a pummeled pork loin sammich with slaw on in. OMG if I have to die, it shall be by fried pork loin May 2023: Been here many times in the interim. Have not been too impressed with the special menus (on special nights like Cinco de Mayo, which was when we went last night). Stick to the regular menu. But you can't beat the friendly service. Trivia night is fun, but low key and not much participation. Have seen business picking up lately, but still not too crowded inside. Never a wait. Feb 2023: Finally tried the wings (which took a while, for this self-proclaimed wing afficionado). Having done so, I'd say pass on the wings -- they aren't bad, but not great, especially compared to the so-many other outstanding things on the menu here. Tried the Spicy Boi sandwich this time, and it goes on the Outstanding list :) you're welcome. Dec 2022: We love this place! Been here more than it shows below. Great sandwiches & burgers - and the craft mac&cheeses are OUTSTANDING. Crystal serves us every time and is great. Wish they had more patronage -- karaoke on Fridays is fun, but not much participation:( Come on out! Sept 2022: Another update: Glad to see a little more patronage, finally! We finally made it up there on karaoke night. Was hoping it would be a little more lively, but at least it had a few more customers. I love how it's always the same servers, and they are so friendly. Had the meatball grinder this time -- pretty good, but not my favorite. The deviled egg app was awesome tho! July 2022: Another update: The quality of this place continues to get better and better every time we go (we've been 2-3 more times since last review.) Super friendly service, and usually the same couple of waiters taking care of us. Wish they had more business!! Every dish we've ordered here since our first visit has been outstanding. Usually I go for the "Make no Misteak" sandwich, but this time I had the "SOP" (sausage, onions, and peppers" with marinara sauce over Alfredo pasta). They should call it "OMG" or "SFG" for "so f-ing good!" The Caprese Mac may be one of the best Mac and cheeses I've ever had. And their eggrolls are what made us regulars!! I try to tell everyone about the place, it's one of our favorites now. I hear Friday nite karaoke is busy -- will aim for that next time! Trivia Tuesday after that! Keep it up! Feb 2022: We decided to give Black Sheep another go, and had a better experience (last time wasn't bad, this was just better). I had the cheesesteak sandwich (I forget what they called it) and the wife had the grilled chicken egg rolls! Both were good. The cheesesteak filling was great, but serving it on Texas toast got it a little soggy but manageable. Had the egg roll app again, and was again awesome! We'll be back, even if it's just to have beers and eggrolls! Service was good and quick the whole time -- a very friendly waitress. But they were not very busy at all, at 7:30 at night -- I hope they can stay open, it's a good non-chain option for us. (They also fixed the dark parking lot issue below). Original Post, mid 2021?: Not bad, but not what we'd hoped. As we pulled in, parking was dark and kind of empty. Not a great sign.. but inside was bright and tables were fairly full.. Menu looked good, and has potential with a little effort. Ordered the egg rolls and wings for appetizers -- the egg rolls were awesome! 3 different kinds (Cuban, BBQ and italian). The wings were a little overcooked and needed more sauce. I had the Insti-Gator, a grilled gator dish. Sounded good, but unimpressive and not a whole lot to it. Also tried the Florida man, also a grilled gator dish. That was better, but way oversalted. Others at the table had sandwiches which were good. Service was very friendly but a tad slow. Hopefully the place finds its groove after being open longer, seemed to have a few kinks. In an area of dozens of good places like it to eat, this one's got some work.

We were visiting and looking for something unique, no chain restaurant... this was a great find! The menu has something for everyone. We were a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 young kids) and we all found something and loved it! For the appetizers, we ordered cheese curds, chips and queso and the pub pretzel... all of it was fresh and delicious! For our main dishes we had a build your own burger, build your own chicken sandwich and two had the Ten-I-See... kids had the chicken fries and fries. I did the build your own burger and chose the beer cheese on it. I have to warn you that the beer cheese has a kick to it, I'm not big on spicy so I wish I chose a different cheese. The beer cheese is in no way bad, it's just got a kick that I don't care for. I chose the potato roll... I'd definitely do that again. We all really enjoyed our meals for sure. The chips that come with the queso were seasoned really well. The pretzel was HUGE, soft and had to be homemade. Cheese curds tasted so fresh and perfectly fried. We went on a Tuesday night... not sure if this is a Tuesday thing, but they had trivia going on. Although our waitress seemed to be the only one one duty, she really tried to make sure we were taken care of. If you're in the area you won't regret stopping in.

If you want comfort food, this is your place. If you want a good solid meal outside, of the same boring salads, you won't find it here. It's high calorie, fatty, salty foods. If that's what you like, this is your place! There's not much to choose from if you don't want to feel like a lazy blob afterwards, except the same salads they have everywhere. They do have a variety of good drinks. It would be a nice spot to go and have a cider or beer if they had some sort of entertainment besides karaoke and trivia. Live music would have been wonderful, but the building is too small. If they just played good music so you could have a drink with friends would be better than what is going on there now.

I was really excited to try this place. The menu looked amazing and it was kid friendly. I can't even say the food was "okay". It was just down right bad. Maybe they had a new cook tonight? I'm not hard to please and neither are my kids. We are happy with even some mediocre food. But.... my 4 year old had the Mac and cheese with a side of fries. She ate some fries and shortly after needed to go to the bathroom to throw up. My two year old wouldn't even eat the fries cause it was so over seasoned with salt and pepper. In fact, almost everything there was over seasoned. I even asked for side of broccoli for my son without any seasoning, just so he had something to eat, and that is one of his favorite foods. He couldn't even eat that becauset yet again... over seasoned. I had the egg rolls. I was very excited to try. But everything on the inside, each kind, was nothing but mush. The only one that was "okay" was the Italian one. My husband ordered the chicken fries as he was disappointed that he could not choose a temp for his burger. He said the same. Way over seasoned. He asked for the hot dipping sauce on the side and it was very salty and separated. He eventually just asked for a to go box so he can use his own sauce at home. We decided to leave and luckily mcdonalds was right there, so we stopped to get some food for the kids.... which they devoured in minutes. Honestly wish we would have started there instead. Our bill would have been much cheaper than $50 and the food would have at least...
