Mackinaw IGA is a small hometown grocery store with a deli & bakery. This IGA sells liquor and they also have a small aisle of hardware items. The Mackinaw IGA has a good deli and bakery. The deli sells homemade side dishes sold by the pound, lunch meat, cheeses , rotisserie chicken, fried chicken and meal specials. Great place to stop and grab a bite for lunch on the run.

When the weather's nice they grill out in the parking lot and you can purchase a pork chop, ribeye steak or braut sandwich accompanied with chips and a soda. (They used to have really good fried chicken but they have changed brands to Chesters which I do not like.) The staff is friendly, helpful and the store is always clean. In this strange time, I have been trying to avoid mass retailers and support local businesses. I went to the Mackinaw IGA website to see if they are open, and upon visiting the site, learned they offer grocery pickup. Not only that, but the pickup time was only an hour away! Most large stores have a several day wait time. I ended up placing an order late Friday for Saturday afternoon. The order was ready early, I got a text and email with the receipt. I pulled up to the designated pickup spot and within minutes a friendly employee brought our my groceries. I am ecstatic that this is an option an look forward to utilizing pickup...and then doing everyday shopping in store once the stay at home order is...

Great experience! Friendly and helpful people! The store has practically everything. Stopped in when we passed through town. Found more than we needed or expected - including the kindest cashier, and a bag "boy" who took our groceries out to the car. These stores are so vital and convenient for the rural area. I will be driving to Mackinaw when I went friendly, no hassle grocery shopping in a cozy village setting. Please give your business to them too, so the store stays...
