There were 4 tables when we walked in. We sat and it took several minutes to be acknowledged. She brought menus over and walked away. 5 minutes later she took our drink order. We were ready to order food too but she walked away. Someone else brought our drinks a few minutes later and also didn’t take our order and walked away. The other waitress cleaned off a table, the owner (I’m assuming) went to sit with another person who walked in after us. We sat for a few more minutes and still no one took our order so we left. Home cooking, family run. Every Sunday they have roasted turkey, chicken and or Pork with all the trimmings for a reasonable price. A family run business, you often find children helping with the serving of the food, but they are very polite and businesslike. I believe there is only one chef, so when the place gets busy you are going to wait a while for your food. If you want a great hamburger, order the larger half-pound burger which is hand pattied and comes on a nice fresh roll with your choice of condiments. I don't find the food that great. Turkey melt wasn't even a turkey melt, it was like chopped turkey PLAIN turkey with some cheese. Cottage cheese was great. Cheese potato bacon soup was great!
