A friendly piece of advice: If you ever go into a store and they want you to leave your belongings at the front of the store, turn around and leave that store and don't ever go back. In case you did not know they are not responsible for your items if they get stolen. They will not replace anything or chase down anyone to get your items back that they made you leave unguarded. You should never have to prove that you are not a thief to give somebody else money for their product. This particular store has many cameras and would catch you if you were stealing. You do not have to leave your pocketbook at the front of the store to prove that you will not steal.

Maybe the issue was that the friend I went in with was trans and they did not want to think that a trans person would carry a need to carry a pocketbook. Maybe the issue was prejudice all along.

I went in looking for antibacterial braiding hair. I stopped at the front counter since I'm on a cane and disabled to ask the gentleman there. After asking 3 times he said he didn't know and instructed me to go ask the girls in the back and they can help me. I then saw another young lady going behind the counter before walking all the way to the back of the store... I asked her the same thing she said no we don't sell that kind of hair here. I then asked about prestretched and prewashed with the 3 bundles in it. She said no, but we do have prewashed hair. We walked to the back of the store and she started showing me the hair they had and right beside the pack she was showing me was shelves of antibacterial braiding hair!!!
