Macon State Farmers Market — Local services in Macon

I went here the other day to get my covid vaccine and it was very well organized. The reason I had to deduct the star is the fact that I remember when this market was very much thriving and full of activity and of course now during this current Corona era a lot of stores have closed. As we decided to cruise through the farmer's market to just check out what we could find to take from kitchen to table.... we were hit with a seafood aroma that we couldn't deny. We found ourselves in front of Louvenia's Food Truck. The attached picture is what we ended up splitting up... we should have ordered more than we did. I enjoyed 5 shrimp, 2 eggs, part of a link and a corn cob. So on a Saturday at this spot... go...

There was nobody manning any booths, and all booths were unstocked and unstaffed. I went during normal, advertised business hours. Perhaps, this was due in part to COVID-19 vaccine being given in one of the covered barns normally utilized by vendors. I don't see why the remaining booths in the other barn areas weren't being utilized for the market. Other than the parking areas being full, there was no reason the show...
