MASSIVE SAFETY WARNING! The track and staff have no respect for you or your safety or their own rules of conduct. Their number one rule is "Making contact with other karts is strictly prohibited. Anyone who makes contact with another kart will be ejected from the race without a refund." Yet, when me and my friends were there recently, one of their "regulars" was intentionally ramming every car he encountered and shoving them out of his way. My friends and I repeatedly informed the staff of his actions (even though they could certainly see it themselves), but the staff completely ignored us and him and allowed him to continue. Ultimately, he ended up ramming his way past me and I tried to let him stay ahead. But, he slammed another driver ahead of him so hard that it spun the guy off and into the barrier and sent the guy flying across the track at a 90° angle and he t-boned me at like 30mph. I could not move, I could not breath... but nobody came to help. I sat there, dazed, while the other cars continued to fly past. Eventually, one of the employees came and told me I needed to pull my car into the pit MYSELF... and nobody came to help me out of the car. My friends had to pull in and do it for them. The staff did absolutely nothing. I asked for the manager... who just asserted that I'd had the wind knocked out of me and asked "what do you want me to do". I said, "for starters, you could enforce your number one rule of 'no intentional impact' and get that guy off the track - we tried to point it out and everyone working here ignored it." He told us, "Aw, Big Tom is alright. You'll be okay." I can get you a phone to call an ambulance if you're really serious about this.
Long story short - I went to the ER and I have 4 broken ribs, a bruised rib cage and a bruised collar bone. The doctor said my rib almost punctured my lung.

Read more3 races for $60 on Thursdays. Google maps takes you to the drag strip, instead of going all the way around the perimeter take a right halfway through the open gates. Kartplex is in the center of the racetrack. Great place for racing. Track is a nice outdoor track with a long straight on the back to get up to speed and an even amount of left and right turns! The karts are well maintained and not trashed. The only downside I noticed were the karts felt restricted on speed; I could keep my foot on the gas on most corners. They have an electronic governor in case of accidents. Overall a nice welcoming environment for casual racing or competitive...
Read moreEverything was great it was an amazing feeling. As soon as I stepped on the pedal and went around the first turn I started laughing. Almost wanted to cry because have fun and the memories it will bring. They are reasonable if you crash the go-kart you financially pay for it, or if you hit a barrier you have to pay for it. But the are out of the world. For three people and one lap for 10 minutes is $95. That's really crazy. The staff is amazing and...
