My experience at The Lily Mae Bridal Boutique was amazing. For starters I received a Private-In Store Appointment meaning that I was the only bride in the boutique during my time frame. I loved being the only bride as it allowed me to get to know Ashley and Teresa more and I didn’t feel rushed or even like I had to compete with another bride for attention. From the minute I walked in they were so inviting and personable. They really made sure to get to know not only my style but myself as a person. They had a beautiful selection of dresses ranging from all different styles and they allowed me to browse and really get to look at the dresses up close and in detail and of course they were very helpful in helping me select choices. I tried on a handful of dresses and ended up narrowing down my selections to two. One of the dresses I had narrowed down, I loved but I wasn’t too thrilled on the color. Ashley and Teresa went on to order that same dress in a different color just for myself and they mentioned that if I didn’t like it when it arrived, they would still put in in their inventory as they thought it was such a gorgeous dress. Luckily the dress that they ordered ended up being my wedding dress! To celebrate we toasted with beverages and I got to take the celebratory picture announcing that I said yes to the dress. Wedding planning is stressful enough and finding your dress shouldn’t be, and at The Lily Mae Bridal Boutique I felt no stress whatsoever. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! Of the three wedding dress shops I visited, Lily Mae Bridal was my favorite. Lily Mae was the first wedding dress shop I had ever visited. I wasn't sure what to expect, but any expectations I had were exceeded on every level. My mom, aunt, grandmother, and I were welcomed in by a smiling woman named Teresa. She sat us down and asked me what I was looking for. My mom had been eyeing a dress so she was sure to pull that one for me to look at. She also asked us what we wanted to drink (her mimosas are fantastic, by the way) before letting us roam the store and pulling any dresses we wanted. I found several I wanted to try on and she took the time to pull all of them herself. We had great conversation while I was trying dresses on and she never made me feel rushed. We were actually the last appointment of the day and she let us stay about a half hour over our allotted time. I kept apologizing for staying so late, but every time she reassured me that she was more than happy to stay with me and help me find the dress of my dreams. I wasn't able to say yes because I still felt like I had more to see, but she was completely understanding. Having picked out my wedding dress at a family owned boutique- The Lily Mae Bridal Boutique; after a failed visit to David’s Bridal here are some key points I’d like to touch on. At the Lily Mae I made an appointment in advance as promised on their website, I was the only soon to be bride in the entire historic and beautiful boutique. They had pulled out every dress that was within my size range. The kindness, hospitality as if you were family & willingness to help make YOU comfortable along this emotional and big day was so lovely and refreshing. The genuine care for what you imagine for your wedding dress was their top concern, not making a sale.
