Bookish — Local services in Malakoff

I've wanted to visit this bookstore since it opened, but didn't have the chance until today! We went as part of my littlest sister's birthday celebration, following lunch at the Victorian Lady's Tea Room and a trip to the little library a few doors down in Mabank. Visiting Bookish was the perfect final stop to a phenomenal day! My little sister decided to try a "Blind Date with a Book," which is such a unique, creative idea, while I found a book by Carson McCullers (one I've always wanted to read). Everyone there was friendly and helpful, and the selection is superb (particularly for a small shop)! There's even a wee coffee shop in the back, which I will definitely try next time. I thought the closest book store to Athens was in Tyler, was very pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this place today. Has a very warm and cozy feel to it, and I found a great book because of the descriptions and reviews they left of a few books "Remarkably Bright Creatures" I'm sure it's going to take me on a whirlwind of emotions.
