We showed up early for our tee time and there was not anyone on the course. There were two groups ahead of us who weren't even there yet and in fact they were late for their tee times. We asked if we could go early so we wouldn't be on top of eachother but the pro is a moron who would prefer to hold up play rather than to allow smooth play of the golf course. Turns out the group we had to wait for were friends with the pro which the starter said he couldn't put us out before them because of their special relationship with the pro. At this point this "special" group was not even there yet and there was no one on the tee box. We tried to talk to the guys inside at the desk but we still couldn't go out. We proceeded to wait 45 additional minutes on the putting green while we stared at an empty tee box. (you cant make this stuff up) We finally teed off behind this 4some. Needless to say there were 3 and then 4 groups (another group behind us) bottlenecked on an otherwise open course. The pro's "special" group held everyone up and thankfully they eventually let us play through. Typical bureaucracy who are unable to bend or think outside the box. Never again. PS as of 6/20/18 the greens are in terrible shape RESOONSE TO OWNER : If these "facts" were true about the tee being closed why wouldn't any member of your staff say so? the starter would surely have known this, no? This is a lie your pro fabricated to cover the fact that he was catering to the special group and screwing the Golf Now Hot Deal clients ... When no logical explanation is given as to why we had to stare at an empty tee box for 45 minutes, then you're going to have 4 upset golfers. I now see that the additude of the staff mirrors that of the ownership. I also see that your Golf Now clients are looked down as unimportant because they didn't pay full price, I'm sure Golf Now will be interested in...
Read moreThe venue itself for my bridal shower was beautiful and the food was delicious . Giving a one star for two things. First had to go to the restaurant and PAY for a drink because the bartender told me he couldnât make the drink I requested. Came back in and he was making the drinks for the other people who requested those same exact drinks, also wee had premium open bar. Second, the coordinator who was in charge was horrible. I asked the week prior to the event a final invoice. Sent it to me I saw I didnât receive the resident discount and asked for a revised invoice with the discount. Sent it to me the discount was applied but the total did not change. I questioned it and I was told the food orders at due 8 weeks prior and my only options to make up for the difference was ice cream sandwiches or a premium open bar instead of the option I had. We decided to upgrade . At the end of the event my mom was given a new invoice which was more then the invoice she emailed. She said well we upgraded to the premium bar, which I was told that would be in place of the discount we werenât getting. After going back and forth and not going anywhere and showing her the emails she sent to me, two meals were removed . Extremely misleading and unprofessional, steer clear of this place as they will purposely omit and be very vague . The coordinator would also take days to answer which was...
Read moreI've played this course several times over the years, and may have joined if they were a bit closer to my home. I've met some fine people, both members and non members. Today we (2 players) played behind a group of 4 that lacked any type of golf etiquette. They were slow, they spent too much time looking for lost balls, left clubs and club covers where they needed to travel backwards to look for them. When it became ridiculous, we attempted to skip a hole to pass them. All of a sudden they fly up to us in their cart and complain we can't pass them because they were members and they were part of a group in front. There is never a ranger on the course, but one would agree, a slow foursome should happily yield to a faster twosome, rather than making them wait on every hole due to their nonsense. Note 1: the group was walking off the green on the tenth, when inexplicably one member took the cart towards us, stopped about 100 yards out, dropped a ball, and hit it back towards the green!?!? Note 2: the group in front of them, actually ran their cart up a tree and needed to be removed from the cart by other nearby golfers...
Very disappointed there is no ranger to keep the flow going..and now I understand why they called...
