I initially lived at City Center from 2011-2018 & just signed a lease to move in again. The old property management team is gone & a new one is there, which includes avery friendly & helpful young man named Brandon. He's taken me around twice to look at different units in the complex & has been super helpful each time I've called & visited. In the midst of all the craziness going on in the world, he made me laugh when I stopped by the complex yesterday. Brandon has great customer service skills and is very helpful. He answered all my questions... and I had several. I apprecite the time he took to help me & think he's an asset to the Parq 170 staff. 11/16/24- Idk why the clientele of renters of this beautiful complex has declined, but it has! This morning when I was leaving some had left 2 empty liquor bottles and cups on a table in the lobby. Not only is that unacceptable, it shows the lack of care of the residents. Additionally, in all the years I've lived here, I've never had a package stolen from in front of my door, but I had it happen last week. I have an idea of who it was because they always smell like weed & don't have jobs. Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure this is my last so many months living here. The fact that people are dtinking in the lobby & leaving their bottles and cups in the open shows the lack of care of those who live here. I called the leasing ofc about a domestic incident happening in the hallway & the girl who sits at the front desk didn't know wtf to do when I told her what was happening. This IS NOT the City Center/Parq 170 I've enjoyed living at for so long.
12/8/24- it's a shame I'm here complaining again about the obviously change in tenants living here now. I've been here off & on since 2011 & NEVER in all those years had a package stolen, until November & December. First the stole a $300 kitchen appliance, then a $100 pair of boots. I know exactly who stole my stuff, but have no proof. People leave trash in the elevators & wait fir the cleaning people to pick up behind them. I know this kind of stuff happens everywhere, but the obvious change in who lives here is obvious. I never encountered these issues before and now I'm forced to install a ring camera on my doot in an attempt to deter theft. I'm pretty sure 2025 is my last year living here cuz between the resudents who don't care about where they live, the thieves & constant changes to the lesding office staff, I'm over it!!
2/14- Another edit about the nasty tenants living here!! This morning as I walked down the hall, I saw someone dropped & left the bones of a fish head and carcass on the hallway floor! These people are nasty & don't care about where they live. This used to be such a nice community, but they're clearly letting absolutely anybody rent here. Between the domestic violence incidents that happen & the nasty people living here, I'm over it!! I no longer want...
Read morePlease recognize and understand that if you would like to enjoy your apartment and enjoy some quiet time, this is not the apartment complex for you. If you would like apartment staff to help you with anything besides maintenance, this complex is not for you. If you do want cleaning fees, and other fees no matter what effort you put forth, then move right in. Office staff does not respond in a timely manner, they do not care about the concerns you address with them, especially when it comes to noise. Since their building was built for commercial use first, they cannot have nor enforce a noise condition. Therefore, you have to live with noise from neighbors who drop heavy things and wake you up at all hours of the night. I have a service animal that assists with a disability and they did not offer much more than an apology and suggest that I speak with the other tenant. Be careful moving out too, they will not answer emails at their convenience and blame it on something personal and expect you to understand their position when they don't care to understand yours. When asked about charges, they do not respond and sell the debt off to a lying collection agency. Gas is high, cost if living is at a record high and still, they have to get their money, right? Maintenance is the best part of this complex. Do yourself a favor, just keep looking and spare yourself the constant noise of emergency vehicles and noisey tenants that can do whatever they want whenever they want. You won't get your much needed sleep, thats for sure! Best of luck!
Update: Aseil, I tried to reach out to you on various occasions to no avail. You even mentioned yourself over the phone with me you did NOT agree with the fees. You told me to REMIND you to get back with you from speaking with Matt because you would at times forget. I did that, even sent emails and there was NO resolution AGAIN. My neighbor never apologized to me. EVER. In fact, after the complaint, the noise was WORSE. An apology without CHANGED BEHAVIOR falls on deaf ears. That does not help me sleep at night after she wakes me up at 12:30 AM and the noise continues until 2:30 AM. I don't need an apology, I need for her NOT to be inconsiderate. The meeting you all wanted to have, also never happened. I never got a call back, a follow up, nothing. The apology was not to me, the apology...
Read moreI used to love living here, but things have definitely changed. It used to be a nice place to live, the staff is doing their best, but without the proper budget and authorization from management at a corporate or ownership level, the big things like broken/outdated appliances, water heaters, etc. are never replaced. My fridge completely broke last week and instead of giving me a new one they gave me an old one from the unit across the hall. Better than nothing I suppose but that’s ridiculous. They’ll have to order a new one at some point, shouldn’t they have extras lying around for emergencies such as these especially considering how old the appliances are? The water quality here sucks, my skin breaks out in rashes, I’m having to clean the toilet 2x a week to keep a ring from forming, they’ll tell you the bathroom fans work but they do not serve their purpose, which is to keep condensation from building up from steam by ventilating the bathroom (thus preventing the growth of mold), the walls of the bathroom look like they’ve been hosed down after a 10 min shower. I’ve taken steamy showers in other places before & this is just not normal. They keep changing the mgmt company here & it’s just getting worse. New management if you’re listening, please make it make sense. Why am I paying for $65 internet that isn’t reliable but yet MANADATORY (yes you heard me right, they will tell you they offer high speed internet but it’s not even wired! It’s some off brand company you’ve never heard of called WhiteSky, everyone on your floor shares the same password & you cannot plug into Ethernet. If you don’t like it too bad because you don’t have any other option and they’ll charge you for it each month even if you don’t use it),over $100 dollars in water each month for 2 people, water that irritates my skin and when fed to the ice maker, creates ice that smells foul, why am I paying $1890 in rent for a place whose fire alarms go off without warning constantly and for sometimes long periods of time in the middle of the night!? This place promises quality to lock you into a lease, then everything is downhill from there, they care little for retaining their current residents, I’ve given them plenty of slack this is...
