The meal was flavorless and chickpeas were as greasy as the engine bay of a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu and left me with an expensive hospital bill....
I dined in after work and ordered their butter chicken and bone chicken kebab, both devoid of any flavor. The butter chicken's gravy was also cold, very cold. I did not want to cause a scene, especially with the rather rude man working the front that day, so I decided to just eat the boneless chicken there and take home the butter chicken. I finished my bland meal and awaited my friend, who I then advised against the butter chicken and boneless chicken once he arrived. He ordered a beef kebab, which I tried a piece of and it had a very bloody-like flavor, unlike, any kebab I've had before. It was not great. We conversed for a couple hours and I felt my gut acting up, I rushed to the restroom and noticed dried brown matter on top of the toilet seat, which I assumed to be feces. There was not enough toilet paper left to cover the toilet and no paper toilets left either, so I lifted the seat up and hovered over it. I was in excruciating pain and while I was conducting my business, a very large rat approached be and squealed, scaring me and causing me to fall into the toilet. I was filled with anger and had my clothes covered in defecation and other waste. I had no means to clean it up, again, due to the lack of toilet paper and paper towels. I texted my friend asking him to request some on my behalf, and apparently the man in the front kept telling him he would have someone refill them, not understanding I was in the restroom and needed the items urgently. I finally had to open the door and yell to get someone to bring in the items. One of the men brought them over and I had the door cracked somewhat so I could reach them without revealing myself, but he kept trying to push the door open more to see what was going on or perhaps to fill them himself, I'm not sure but I had no clothes from the waist down and didn't want him to see so I pushed back and grabbed them out his hand. I wiped myself down and rushed to my car to get home. OTC medication did not help and I was in so much pain that I had to get an ambulance to get me to the ER, where I tested positive...
Read moreI am very conflicted with this place. I think that the person running the register and restaurant is ruining it for the business. Felt the need to write some things after my experiences:
-The food is really good and that is credit to the kitchen staff, but they should be employed elsewhere in my opinion.
-The person running the register is very absent-minded and forgetful. If you don't stay on top of him, he will either mischarge or misconstrue your order.
-Out of the six or so times that I have ordered takeout here, three of those times I've had multiple items missing. I live fifteen minutes away. When I tried to call shortly after to notify him, the phone would continue to ring or he wouldn't be available because he is either on the phone with family the whole time or he is outside the restaurant talking to people. The one time I did get a hold of him, I told him what items were missing, and he had told me to come back to pick them up (a lot of restaurants would provide some kind of courtesy but none here). When I drove back (that's forty or so minutes total of time wasted for his mistakes not accounting for the original time), he places a lot of food on the counter as if I placed another order, as if the phone call never happened. I clarified that he owed me items he missed after a long back and forth. He then told me to wait another 5 minutes for those items (it took 15) and in the meantime he took the food he prepared mistakenly and poured it back from the container to the buffet line right in front of me. That is very concerning.
-He refuses to correct the menu prices on the screens and they are falsely advertised. He should at least have the decency to put up some kind of paper sign notifying customers that the prices aren't accurate, but this will encourage a customer to place an order based on the outdated pricing and then being overcharged.
There are too many fundamental errors...
