Do not recommend. I dropped off 2 bridesmaids dresses on Oct 12 and explained one wedding was for Nov 9th and the other for Feb 23rd. We set a follow up appointment for Nov 3rd for a final try on and to get the dresses hemmed. On Nov 1st she called to reschedule for Sunday or Monday, neither of which were doable for me so we agreed on Nov 5th, that Tuesday at 12pm noon. It was cutting it close for the frist wedding so I was already apprehensive about that. Come Tuesday I arrive and she has guests over and states we had rescheduled for Saturday the 12th. Absolutely not. I made it clear that was not the case as the wedding was on the 9th and I would be out of town by the 8th. After minor back and forth I agreed to come back in 2 hours, (2pm.) When I arrived back home I had decided I was going to take back both of my dresses without having the hemming done and messaged her to send me the total that I would owe her. No response. At 2pm I call her for the total and she was confused that I would be picking them up instead of finishing the fittings. Apparently she had not even begun to work on either dress until then so she was only able to do the alterations for 1 dress before I arrived to pick them up. The dress fit nice when I tried it on at home later but it wasn't worth me losing 3 hours of sleep before going to work when she had it...

I cannot say enough good things about Irina and her work! She came recommended by a friend in the area and I will never take my dresses to anyone else. First, Irina helped us bring a vision to life with altering my mother's wedding dress into a cocktail dress for my rehearsal dinner. She transformed the dress into something more modern and appropriate for my event. It turned out beautifully and she took such amazing care of the gown!

Second, Irina helped with my wedding gown. Her alterations were perfectly executed and she created a functional and beautiful bustle for my dress. Not only did she do alterations, but when I said I wanted buttons to be added all the way down the back of my gown, she HANDMADE the buttons from my extra fabric. Her attention to detail and knowledge is unmatched. She is incredibly kind, funny, and her prices are more than reasonable for the quality of work that you get. I would recommend Irina to anyone as I trust her to help with any type of clothing from dresses, suits, and even custom clothing.

I imagine that altering wedding gowns can be a demanding trade, but she exudes confidence, positivity, professionalism, and warmth. She listened to me attentively to understand the silhouette I wanted. She also showed great instincts and knew how to work with the unique style and fabric of my dress. When I had to share with Irina that my fiancé and I had experienced a family health emergency that would impact our wedding plans, she truly went above and beyond for us.
