River Raisin Distillery — Local services in Manchester Township

We went last Summer and weren't greeted by Staff and it took awhile to even get a drink. There was only a few tables with people. We were disappointed. We decided to try this again last weekend. The Waiter was nice. But the drinks & apps are really not good, not even a little. I spent $25 on a fish bowl. It was just filled with sugar more than anything and tasted zero alcohol and I'm someone who has had a gastric sleeve and can feel a drink immediately so this says alot. $25 for fruit punch basically. We also ordered the appetizer that says bread, pretzels, chips with cheese. We watched them pour out of store bought bags pretzel thins, little pita bread from Walmart etc. It was pricey for being a restaurant that provides "food" & it tasted terribly bland.

I went to Shady's in Brooklyn the next day and got similar items for the same costs or less and it was excellent and actually made not dumped from a bag.

Went for Sunday brunch right ad they opened. They had a lot of cocktail options, but the Loaded Bloody Mary Sunday special stole the spotlight. The appetizers we ordered were delicious - tater tots poutine and perogie nachos. They did not have a full menu (at least for Sunday brunch) but the appetizers were filling, and if you get the loaded Bloody Mary, that's pretty much a meal on it's own. Service was fast and friendly. There is not a lot of seating inside, and they were full the whole time we were there - so come early to avoid a wait. There is outdoor seating as well though. They have rum and other liquors on sale that would be a nice addition to a home stash or as a gift. We will be back and I'd definitely recommend to others. Great hole in the...

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of this fine facility. Very nice and personable people. They gave me the feeling like they are good neighbors for sure. I bought a bottle of their Cane & Grain. It is quite smooth, and has a nice and very mild aftertaste. Pleasant to be sure. I will definitely pass the word around about this place. It’s exactly what Manchester Village needs. Friendly people and a product worth the trip every time. Let’s all support this “Mom and Pop” company. They definitely deserve it.
