This review is overdue but it just comes to show that my experience at Bonneville hasn't changed over the years. I would have given it 5 starts in 2017 and still do today!
Most recently, I went to Bonneville and Son's to have my Jeep Wrangler serviced and inspected at an appointment where I was waiting for it. I ended up sitting down with Cody and came home with a different Jeep!! When I tell you I wasn't looking for a new Jeep, I mean it. I'm the kind of person that doesn't buy anything that is not on budget, but Cody was impeccable at just carrying a relaxed conversation with me, going over what my needs were for a vehicle, hearing me out on what I liked about my Wrangler, what options I couldn't live without and I never felt forced into trying a vehicle that did not match several of the points on my list. I felt like the whole interaction was directed by me and not like I was being pushed into something I didn't like just to sell a car. Cody worked with Sales Manager Dan to make sure that I was comfortable with what I was getting and gave me the time to put pen to paper and make sure I was ok with the decision. I also got to meet Mr. Bonneville who came to say hi. Let me just say my service appointment was at 10am and I left there with a new Jeep at 5PM! And I can say that not one minute did I feel rushed nor pulled into directions I didn't want to look into. I have shopped at Bonneville since 2017 and I will always be confident coming back if I need a vehicle in the future. For now, I'll enjoy this one and will come back for services. In my experience, Bonneville and Son's is not a place where you come in and feel like a number on an accounting book, they do work to build a relationship with you!
Talking about Services, I must include a review of the service department as well that is a bit overdue! -- Summer of 2024 the service department at Bonneville took my Jeep Wrangler in for paint oxidation work and I can't thank them enough for an amazing job and for making my experience with this issue a stress free one. When I started looking into how I could possibly fix the oxidation issues, my first place to start asking was Bonneville as I always trust their expertise and advice! Mark is my go to but anyone that I have talked to on the phone or during my service visits is patient and super nice. I don't like being "sold things" and I have never felt pressured to complete any kind of work I didn't feel I needed or couldn't afford right away.
About the Oxidation work, Mark took the time to make sure I was still under warranty and from then on it was smooth sailing. I followed all their instructions as far as when to submit the claim and then get it in the shop. When it was time, I dropped it off, Mark followed up with me regularly and they just weren't going to have me pick it up until they were happy with it. Well, I am attaching photos because the job was just beautifully done. My 2019 wrangler looked sparkling new! I can't thank them enough and I will always refer them if anyone ever asks me where to go for service.
I think this is the longest review I have ever written but Bonneville & Son's deserves it as far as this customer...
Read moreHad a great experience recently. Went in last Saturday to explore my optional. Was trading in my Challenger for something that could handle the winters better. Met up with Trey and looked at a few options, then settled on Certified Pre-Owned. Trey was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive & showed high awareness. He asked what my wants/needs were, figured out what my budget was and did everything in his power to help get me to a number I was comfortable with.
As someone who worked in the car industry for years I know he doesn’t have much say in the final numbers, but ultimately I took their final offer and drove away with a nice Jeep Wrangler. Threw an additional warranty on it to cover just over 105,000 miles after working with one of their finance guys. (Forget the name but super friendly, with a cane, said he’s mainly working there to tell people what the date is lol)
Overall, the culture here seems fun and friendly. I, myself even thought, maybe I should try getting a job here. Whoever is running this place, hiring and putting people in spots is doing a GREAT. Just from a customer’s POV, you walk in the door and see a beautiful woman sitting at her desk. Across from her is a team of Sales Managers (I’m assuming). In the back is your Admin offices, F&I & Service Center. The right side of the building has a comfortable spaces out waiting area with TV’s, Food & Beverages and a separate children’s room. During the time I was in the building, Trey and others offered me complimentary coffee, lattes, muffins, hot dogs, and more over and over. I witnessed Sales Managers joking around with Salespeople, Sales people joking around with customers. All of the above made me feel less like I was about to be bent over trying to make a deal.
The car industry has changed. There’s much less play in the numbers for dealerships. I have a friend who is a partner at another dealership so I get a lot of behind the scene intel. This place could’ve cut back and not made the seating area so large or comfy. They could’ve not had a children’s room. They could’ve cheaped out on complimentary snacks and drinks. But I could see they didn’t and that to me makes all the difference in the world. With the tech today people can just buy online and have zero interaction with a human if they want. For some that may work, but if you want hospitality and customer service, to feel comfortable, reassured, and important, give...
Read moreJust to start off, I really wasn't looking for another truck but seen a really nice looking Ram 1500 on Facebook ads. I called and was transferred to a guy named Mike Raymond. He said if I wanted to come look at it he would be there. I drove the 35 minutes to see it and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. I was thinking of getting it for my daughter so I called her to come up and see it. Well she did and liked it. At this point I called my wife and told her and she thought I was crazy because she has a new SUV and a 86 older truck that she loves but needed transmission work. Well I told Mike I was gonna hold off for now even tho He worked really hard to get me a great deal, he was understanding. I thought about it for the next couple of days and called Mike and said I was gonna bring my wife up to see it. We drove up in the pouring rain to check it out and she liked it but thought I was crazy and we didn't need another truck. It was later in the day so I told Mike I would get back to him. The next day I called him and said I would take it. I did spend a good amount of time between the first day looking at it and waiting for my daughter to get there and then going up with my wife again that Mike said it took him less time to buy his first house lol. To make a LONG story short, He was a pleasure to buy from and Very Very Very helpful. I would definitely recommend seeing him if you are looking for your next vehicle purchase. Thank you Mike Raymond, Mr. Bonneville and the rest of the team there for a GREAT deal and buying experience from there. PS Mike it didn't take me that long either, to buy any of my houses too. Just had to find room in the driveway to put it with all the others lol. I appreciate all you guys did for...
