Enchantments School for the Magickal Arts & Witch Shop — Local services in Manchester

Enchantment isn't the same to me as it was almost 8 years ago when I took my nephew. The owner sat behind her desk with cellphone and didn't communicate with me or asked if I needed help as she did that many years ago. I know we have our bad days and if the owner was im sorry to hear and hope it gets better but next time put a sign on the door saying you will be back at such a time and take a break, meditation, what works for you and come back and be friendly and sociable with your customers. 9/30/19 Please note ten hours ago the owner left me a reply and is definitely not a friendly woman. All I have to say to her reply is lies, I was with my 21 month old son and she wasn't talking on the phone but playing on her phone and I was there longer than three minutes but true not to long because I can only go through such a small store so many times,with very little to offer and over priced items. I have been to a few of the shops that day with great service, remarkable products! Yes its been such a long time since my last visit.... not to be a tourist and to see what a " witch shop" looks like. I am born, raised and still living in CT, who has been a practicing eclectic wiccan since I was a little girl. As many know you don't need a shop to buy stuff especially over priced items to do your spells, meditate, and learn more. Everything we need could simply be in your own kitchen cupboards and most definitely outside in nature. I have no hate and I love myself and who I am and I have always heal others and always positive. My previous review wasn't meant to be negative but to be honest and critique in hopes that a further visit would've been a better experience. I wish the owner only good things to head her way, but will take my business elsewhere. I should post the page long reply from owner but I am a better person. I believe in Karma... If you want a good review , instead of a person giving some advice as a customer then please be respectful, helpful, and not to judge someone because they didn't buy something. Went to Enchantments to see their herb selection & candles. Not too many herbs offered, they take up a very tiny section on the wall. Lots of crystals but I would rather have a wider selection of herbs, statuary and other altar supplies. A lot of overpriced items as well, a lot of these things you can find on witchcraft sites for a fraction of the price! The vibe here is a little negative, like you're being judged or that they know more than you. It's close to my home but I would rather take the trip to A New Page in Middletown.

After coming a good distance to get to this shop, saw they had a bunch of angry political propaganda blaring outside of the building, turned around, and left. Edit: in response to the owner's comment, yes, I do see them as political, and if you have the warped perspective that they are not, then that is something you might want to reevaluate and educate yourself on. Your long response shows that it is indeed an angry and volatile groupthink that you are engaging in. If you are indeed inviting everyone in, you should not feel it necessary to tattoo your shop with political messaging. Rather the aura should feel welcoming. You are engaging with me in a hateful way. Consider that your "blessings" and your "love and light" may be false. Peace...
