Im updating as if 2024. Have not gone back sin 2020.1 star. Prices..they have gotten greedy. I know them talked to the owner. You cannot compare meals or pizza prices to places that have actual restaurant and supermarket pizza. Their pizza went from 14.00 to about 24 to 27.00 for a thin thin paper thin slice. Soggy in the middle. He said people want ny that's ny. First off what do you know. Your not Italian. Your Puerto Rican. This is not Italian pizza and definately not ny style. Nt y stle you get a plump gooey thick crust and huge slices and at least 1/4 inch thick of "00" FLOUR DOUGH. Or sicilian thick pizza. Secind..your wings are the size of baby chick's. IT shoukd be illegal to sell baby chick's as winds or drums. 24.00 fir wings the size of a teaspoon. I took pics. An you wanted 24.00! I walked out. I'm not paying fir garbage. Pizza so thin in the middle it falls apart is watery. You can raise prices if it's worth it. But when greed comes in the way and you lower stand of quality you will lose customers and you'll lose your restaurant. I was very upset and almost reported this. I wint go back. Will only buy from Frank Pepes now...they are expensive but quality is good..or Mulberrys.. this owner is getting to greedy. Greed loses in the end.
Pre 2020 years MY FAVORITE LOCAL PIZZA NEAR ME. Over the years dough is getting thin but they use real sausage, real good flavor. I ask fir lite baked crust so its sifter. I love it. I tried there wings for the first time... FANTASTIC. THEY ARE JUMBO DRUMSTICKS. only thing.. with them i prefer sauce on the side for wings. Otherwise by time u get home skin no longer crispy with sauce on. Been going here since 2007. They have a few tabkes. This is a casual place for take out or quuck bite if u eat there. Counter is right there. Small...
Read moreMy family has been faithful customers of woodbridge pizza for years but my last 2 delivery's have been negative experiences. They are charging more than their menu prices with no explanation and when I asked for a paper menu to be delivered with my order they did not bring them even though they said they would. All I wanted was a wrap for dinner. I was told there was a 10 dollar minimum for delivery, so I ordered an order of onion rings as well that I really didnt want. Then when it was delivered my $12 worth of food cost almost $16! The delivery driver (who didnt bring the menus) stated that the reason for the price difference was because theres a delivery fee of a dollar or something. Then ofcourse, even though I already paid a fee for delivery.......I still tipped her because thats the right thing to do. So by the time It was said and done I ended up with an $18 bill for $12 worth of food, when all I wanted when I called was a $6.99 sandwich.
After she left I did the math, and even if they charged tax with the delivery fee included (which they shouldn't) It still didnt add up to close to what they charged me. Its a shame that their customer service has gone downhill and that they are charging more than the menu prices....They have lost several long time customers over bad customer service and a couple dollars. My family or my co-workers wont be coming here any longer. The only reason Im still giving 2 stars is that the food is still good....
Read moreI live out in the Boonies (along Rt 6 towards Willimantic) - this is the best & closest pizza joint for me by a long shot. Crust, sauce, & cheese are all good. The only other place that compares is Highland Park Market's pizza station. Then of course there's Pepe's out by the mall but that's a different category altogether. I'd say their white pies are better. I often get the Colangelo special. I always pick up myself as I'm way too far for them to deliver. I've had to wait a little longer a few times but mainly at busy times. I try to not order when they're busy (Fri/Sat dinner times). They also have slices which are large & good. The wings are good too. Get a printed menu, there are coupons @ the bottom. Counter staff are always friendly. Sometimes difficult to park, only a few spaces on the street in front. One time I had to park in the gas station diagonally across the street, almost got run over in that crazy intersection, there's no phase of the traffic light when a vehicle does not suddenly appear out of nowhere buzzing thru @ 50+...
