Pastrami On Wry — Restaurant in Manchester

This is our 4th year living in Manchester, and we've always heard good things about this place. We finally decided to try it today (Sunday early afternoon), and were not impressed. The menu has lots of things that look good on it but execution was way off. We ordered a side of kielbasa and fries for our daughters to split, they didn't show up until 15 minutes later and were cold. There were only 2, maybe 3 other tables at the time, and only one was waiting for food.

My husband ordered the belly buster Pastrami sandwich and it was underwhelming. It was a good size for a regular sandwich/grinder, but if you're going to put something in a whole other category and call it a belly buster, charging a few more dollars for it...it should be loaded. He also ordered the southwest type sweet potato fries. They had tomatoes, some aioli and guacamole on them. The guacamole was brown, we couldn't even believe they put it on the plate like that!

Our son ordered a meatball grinder. The bread was stale, and the meatball was so flavorless. It just tasted like a ball of ground beef. Some salt and sauce would have gone a long way, at least!

I ordered the Pastrami Pretzel sandwich and that was probably the best thing we got, but for 12$ I'd say it was small. Fries are extra so I paid 4$ extra for Garlic Parm fries that were meh.

Was really looking forward to trying this place, and we understand if there are off days but when the off day is during the first time you're trying a place, chances are you don't...

I have been to this restaurant more than once and I enjoy the food. Good size portions and very tasty. I woukd of given them another star except for the service today. I went in and ordered to go a rockafella sandwich that comes with two sides. So I look on their menu we’re it says sides and things and I first order their potato salad and for the second I order onion rings ( same spot as the other side). The bill comes to 16.91 not 11.75 plus tax for a sandwich that comes with two sides for the price. I asked why the price was so high and the girl said that the rings were not a side. I then said that they are next to each other in the menu and her response was “ it is confusing.” So I said ok so then I can pick another side ( decided to keep the rings) and she then had this confused look on her face so I had to explain that the price of the meal included two sides and I was only getting one for the same price. So then I picked the coleslaw as the second side. So the sandwich is ready for pickup as she calls my name. She never asked if I needed a fork also just here you go. So I bring it back to work and turns out that the coleslaw wasn’t there but no fork. So being in a place without access to utensils I ended up using a ring as a fork. So in the end I paid 16.91 fir a meal missing a side and a fork. I will be going back as I said the food is really good just make sure you check your order...

We placed a breakfast takeout order. We asked to have the home fries well cooked. The last time we ordered home fries they came out raw. We didn't noticed till we got home and couldn't eat them. Never mentioned it to the restaurant, Lesson learned.

A few weeks later we placed another order, we asked to have them cooked longer the employee on the phone repeated the order. Once we arrived to pickup our order we double checked it.The home fries were raw. I told the employee at the counter and she seemed annoyed and asked me "what do you want me to do about it"? I asked if they can cook them a little longer. Well let's just say that didn't go over well!!! While I was waiting for the food to be cooked, I noticed that the pancakes were submerged in syrup... not sure why they wouldn't put it in a separate container. I waited for about 20 minutes for them to cook the home fries. At this point the pancakes were getting soggy. I asked for new pancakes.The employee responded rudely.

Once we got home the home fries were burnt!! Stuck to the styrofoam and not safe to eat. Called to speak to the manager Miguel, I was told he wasn't there so I left a message. Never called me back. I also emailed him with photos,...
