I just love visiting Manchester! It is a charming town with a FANTASTIC quilt shop! The quaint theater next door displayed "fantastic", and that is how I would describe THE QUILTMAKER'S SHOP. They have a huge selection of high quality quilting fabrics and everything you need to complete your project. Employees and owner are super helpful with fabric selection and advice. Well lit, well organized with inspirational samples. New, lovely fabric all the time. Parking is easy and the downtown area is lovely and safe. Friendly residents. First time checking in at The Quiltmaker's Shoppe in Manchester IA!! What a fabulous place to learn all about quilting as I'm a newby to the world of actually make your own quilts!! We do love our quilts, just never attempted making them, not even on a small scale version! So grateful for help from family and staff. This shop is clean and the staff is very helpful!! The lady went out to my husband in our truck and give him instructions around the construction!! They have beautiful quilts displayed.
