Great managers & a wonderful team of employees that keep the store running smoothly, Jack'sFresh County Market a great place to shop. Others like Melanie (Mel) & Dawn keep the team at Jack's on their toes and ensure that everyone does a great job of keeping items ordered and in stock and this should be appreciated during this terrible bideneconomic time. Always great service and always fresh food.

From items on the shelf to the wonderful sit down deli complete with a TV and a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is very helful and i cannot stress the helpfulness of the managers, this is the grocery store of all grocery stores, so unless you want to wait in line at Walmart 60+ miles away (one way), then Jack's is the place. Additionally there is a Bank inside in case you need cash as well as a Redbox movie rental unit in the entrance.

Very friendly to all ages with a fair variety of products. New parking lot and it is right off of US-2 making it a ideal stopping point. There is also a historic park and lighthouse right across the street so if you feel like grabbing something delicious from the deli and eating outside you only need to cross the street and grab...

I ONLY shop here when necessary, otherwise I grocery shop in Escanaba for MUCH cheaper. I'd go broke shopping exclusively at Jack's, prices are hugely inflated. And items often come up at the wrong price when checking out, so keep your eye out. Now they have this stupid coupon system when you put in your phone number. Just lower your prices and you wouldn't have to do that. Jack's is just taking advantage of the fact that they're the only grocery store in the area.

Another thing: be careful of expiration dates, especially with products on sale. A while back there was a huge palette of mayonnaise on sale for very cheap, but if you looked at the date, it was expiring in just a couple of days. They do this a lot to get rid of nearly expired product; I've even seen past dated items on sale for full price, which is illegal to sell.

Overall, Jack's is fine for a quick gallon of milk or some bread, but I'm going to continue shopping at Aldi and Meijer, where I can almost...

People please READ ALL INGREDIENTS before buying premade food from here. My husband and I came into Jack's to get food for our family. We have specific foods we can't eat. We purchased 4 "fresh made" pastys. 3 "BEEF and potatoe" and 1 "Veggie pasty". My family loves pastys. When we got back to our room and we ate them trusting they were what Jack's Fresh Market employees labeled what they were. NO NO NO NO. The BEEF isn't beef it's pork beef mix😳. And the VEGGIE... Had meat in it, clearly NOT veggies in it. We called Mike the manager, he calms it's our faults for not reading the long ingredient info, BUT MISS labeling food and calling it beef and potatoes when it's beef AND pork, its not beef and potatoe! That's false advertising. Not everyone eats pork. And in our daughters case she don't eat meat, and her veggie pasty looked just like the pork beef mixed ones. Not...
