Ziggy's Kitchens LLC — Local services in Manville

Recently we started looking to upgrade the appearance of our 20 year old maple-wood kitchen cabinets while still trying not to have to take out a second mortgage to accomplish this task. We started investigating the world of repainting, refinishing, or refacing our existing cabinets; and as anyone who has done this will tell you, this is a daunting task. In any case, we decided upon 'refacing'. And then, after many hours spent looking, listening, and evaluating the various companies, we chose Ziggy's Kitchens LLC. We decided upon off-white 'Shaker-style' cabinets and the project has just been concluded and we are very pleased. (See the pictures below.) Ziggy was everything anyone should expect of a top-notch craftsman: honest, punctual, helpful, friendly, efficient, thorough, and damn-good at his craft. I was very impressed with his continual attention to the smallest details, and that attention was evident in the final product. My wife and I finally decided to upgrade our kitchen with cabinet refacing and a new countertop. We got the countertop from a countertop fabricator and we used Ziggy for the cabinet refacing based on the excellent reviews that we saw online. We were not disappointed. Ziggy is a true craftsman who pays meticulous attention to detail and does things that I don't think someone else would do. Before starting the job he covered our kitchen floor with cardboard. He set up a plastic barrier from the ceiling to the floor on the cabinet side of the kitchen to prevent the dust and sawdust from spreading while sanding and cutting wood. He also vacuumed up at the end of every day. The drawers and cabinet doors have slow close hinges, but he still put little rubber bumpers on the inside of the drawers and doors for a nice softer close. I don't think anyone else would have done that. Ziggy's pricing was very reasonable. We are more than satisfied with how our kitchen turned out and would highly recommend Ziggy to do your kitchen...

Ziggy impressed us immediately from his initial visit with his commitment to do our kitchen from start to finish from the day the job starts. He brought an assortment of sample cabinet doors and countertops in various styles and colors for us to choose from. Ziggy budgeted 7 work days to complete our job and actually completed everything in 6 days. Ziggy’s work was excellent. He is an accomplished craftsman who clearly takes pride in his work to make sure that everything comes out perfectly. He was always on time and always put in a full day of work. Ziggy is an extremely clean contractor. He vacuumed every day before leaving so that we never felt like our house was a mess. We were totally satisfied with the finished product.
