Do not get a custom dress from here, and do not purchase here if you have qualms about your dress being made in China. I was tricked into getting a dress because I thought they could customize it to be exactly what I wanted. This was a lie - at every stage I was pressured into making changes to make the dress closer to the rack models. I originally wanted tulle sleeves that looked similar to those in the 2015 Cinderella film, but I was forced to choose something else weeks after the order was supposed to be submitted (too late to find a different option). And when I finally received the dress, the sleeves weren’t even what I settled for at all! When I received my dress, not only was it not custom to my measurements, it was poorly made. The seams for the tulle inside of the bodice and sleeve were unfinished. They were encased, not exterior, but it still left an unfinished, unpolished appearance. I had to hand-sew the sleeves to take them in so bulky, visible, unfinished seams were not poking over the ends of my shoulder. This also was needed to fix the underlayer of the sleeves (there was only supposed to be one) being an improper length. The sleeves were too short regardless. In addition, the tulle layer was not attached to the opaque layer of the bodice, so the seams in the bodice laid mismatched. The neckline was horrid - way more narrow with a very defined curve - not at all what was discussed in consultation. I asked for a veil of the exact same tulle as my dress and was told this would be easy, but this was something I later had to fight and push for, as they wanted to switch to a cheaper tulle for the same price. Then, when I picked up the dress, I found out that appliqué had been applied to the bottom and sides of the veil, even though I had specified plain tulle. She offered a simple tulle veil (a different, cheaper tulle) that was on hand instead. I thought I could maybe remove the appliqué myself, and she told me that, since the error was the shop’s, they would throw in the veil for free. She later charged me over $50 as a surcharge for BOTH veils (the original one was supposed to be covered with the cost - apparently the appliqué I DIDN’T WANT was an additional charge). My dress was delayed to within ten days of my wedding so I had no other options. When I was first told there would be delays (that they hadn’t even started making my dress after over a month since I paid to have it made!!) I was told I would not be able to get the sizable down payment back, but that I could have a small discount on a dress off the rack! The whole reason I chose this company was for a CUSTOM dress! The delays ended up being even more than I was originally told, and I only found out through the delays that the dress was made in China, even though I specifically asked where it would be made and was told there were a few places in Western Europe that it could be sent to. I should have known something was off because the person helping me, Melissa, was pushy from the start. When I felt hesitant and said I wanted to try on my top choices from the two other places I had visited (to my mom) she stepped in and said unless we put a payment down now she couldn’t guarantee the dress would be done before May. She said it would be refundable within a certain period, but waited until after that period to have any correspondence about the problems areas so we were out the money! I waited nearly three years to make a review because I thought that maybe I was overreacting. But my horrible experience still haunts me and my wedding was nearly ruined. But I guess she got her commission and the shop scammed us out of a solid grand for sweatshop labor.

What's unique about this boutique is the dresses are customizable. That means you don't buy it, then take it to alterations (costing you extra time and money). The manufacturer makes the dress EXACTLY how you request it at no additional charge. The reason being is Melissa (the boutique owner) orders the dress directly from the manufacturer (no middle man) with the requested customizations. I don't know why more UT brides (particularly those who, like me, want a modest dress that doesn't look like a t-shirt) don't know about this place! They did get my sleeves wrong, but Melissa paid for the alterations to fix it to the way I had originally asked. And the dresses are very affordable (you can find dresses as low as $300!) and same quality as a high-end boutique. My dress took about 6-8 weeks. Not sure if they're in order, but there are 3 pics of me with my hubs on my wedding day post-alterations 6 on the mannequin are the official pictures of the original dress 4 are a model wearing it in the original style.

I went to 5 different bridal store and tried on so many different dresses and had a really hard time feeling like any of them were me. I eventually found two that I liked but the prices were outrageous and I couldn’t justify paying that for just one dress. My sister found this place and I decided out of desperation to try it. Such a different feel than all the other places! Melissa is so great! She was in the middle of her workout when I showed up without an appointment but she still helped me (but set up an appointment, don’t be rude like me)! The best thing about this place, they custom make your dress! I had quite a few pictures of the dress I liked so I just showed her and she was like “oh yeah, we can make that”. Best part is that the dress was 1/3 the price! She sent in the pictures of the two dresses I wanted to slice together and I got mine! Melissa response so fast, is so easy to work with and knows what she is doing! I love my dress and am so grateful I found this place!
