Just a (black) woman trying to buy firearms FOR MY HOME. The store was having a 20% off sale the day I went to pick up my firearm, so I decided to look for a second firearm due to the sale.
The woman with the red hair (that started my initial order ) let me fill the paperwork COMPLETELY out for the 2nd gun then proceeded to do her side of the paperworkā¦.THEN she tells me she canāt sell me the gun because I DIDNT KNOW THE NAME (BRAND) OF THE FIRST GUN (I had just purchased) when she asked me.?????!
Another salesman finished my paperwork with no issue and he didnāt ask me any questions in that transaction outside of the paperwork (for the 1st gun).
She said she had to deny me. Then proceeded to say SHE DIDNāT BELIEVE THAT THE 2nd GUN (I was trying to purchase) WASNāT FOR ME, AS WELL AS THE FIRST GUN ( I had just purchased MINUTES earlier.)!!!!?
So I PASSED the background check and was approved for the first gun (picked up minutes prior). But now Iām denied for the 2nd under her suspicion, because I didnāt know THE BRAND NAME of the guns???????? I was basing my selections off price, style (Iām a girl ) , and size of bullets not the BRAND. I even purchased BULLETS for the gun they said I didnāt know the caliber for. So how is that? I was stereotyped and not treated with fairness. I do NOT plan to return.
From the first visit to the last it was not a welcoming environment (the guy that helped me with the first gun was cool). I wouldāve been better off driving the extra distance to a different store further away. The gun I was able to get, they didnāt even have in stock, the woman tried to give me the display they had out, that everyone had been playing with. Did not offer to order it, I had to ask her to.

I told no lie (no need), both guns took the same size bullets. The women used the words ānameā and āTaurusā, during the WHOLE conversation. I made sure both guns were the same as far as bullets, so I wouldnāt have to buy different ones. Iāve been to the range on multiple occasions handling and using big and small guns (if that matters).

I would also hope that the used gun section on the website was properly managed multiple phone calls(unanswered of course because they are always just so busy) asking about used items āavailableā on the website to call and be told itās either sold or on layaway but will make sure to find a way to not sell a firearm to an actual customer 0/10 for customer service 0/10 for customer satisfaction 0/10 for the way the business is ran absolutely would not do business here but I wonāt hurt them not returning. Hope to spread awareness and happy I havenāt done business with you guys thanks in advance

Itās never a bad vibe but today we had Cody. He was patient with every question. Pulled out any firearm we asked to see. Even looked for one in the back that wasnāt on the shelf. Dude goes above and beyond and knows how to delv customer service. So the 5 stars are def for Cody!!!! Update: I have bought 5 firearms and prob over 5k rounds since April. I purchased a hellcat pro via the website that came with 5 magazines and a range back. Being we live in Illinois I ordered the one that came with 15 round capacity. Well I get a call that whomever the purchase it from only has 3(15rd) and 2(17rd) mags. Why is it still on the site? I feel like I kind of got the bait and switch. Then I arrive at the store and a sales person told me they may be able to swap out the 2(17rd) magazine for two 15 round magazines if they have them in store. I come back after the 72 hour waiting period. I speak with that very same sales person. He grabs the two 15 round magazines and says I canāt swap but you can buy them. Iām fully aware they did not make the law but when you have the ability to swap for your customer why wouldnāt you? Iām sure they flip all those extra magazines to a diff store with diff state laws. It just sucks you donāt try to help out the customer in any way. Left a very bad taste in mouth. Update again gave them another try in July of 2025. A lady Iām not sure of her name but was awesome. Great customer service can tell she cares and helped me out on a extremely busy day for them...
