FLGS with a small cafe. Focused mostly on miniature war games with several spacious tables and communal terrain available. There’s also a good selection of board games and RPG/D&D-style books and minis for sale and a small rack of borrowable board games for in-store play (they quarantine any played games for two weeks). They have a nice selection of paints and painting supplies for minis, though COVID has reduced their ordered stock. I went to find some black primer and the only available was a huge $85 bottle which was a bit more than I needed. The back room has tables for tabletop and card games like Magic: The Gathering. We’ve been meeting there as a board game meetup weekly and they are accommodating and friendly. COVID restrictions are in place (masks!) and there are definitely fewer folks there than normal. One chair to a table which makes some board game playing tricky but we manage to put some felt down in the middle of a 4-table cluster and just have folks lean in to play. Lots of snacks for sale at the cafe, and tons of quirky sodas and drinks. As another reviewer noted there’s no one really on staff wandering the aisles to help you decide on what kind of game to buy, but if there’s other customers around they have been friendly with advice in my experience. 5/5 will game again.

I was surprised to discover that Giga-Bites is a popular place to be on a Tuesday night. It's crowded with passionate players that come roleplay, enact scenes of warfare, or get dirty in Magic. After around 6pm, interested players will stroll through the door and grab a bite from their cafe in the back. The food is decent and they offer specials every month alongside a standard menu, snacks, and drinks to choose from. Safe to say you definitely don't get hungry when you need a break from gaming. Whatever you buy goes toward paying yourself back in the form of a loyalty system. Outside of the sessions, they have everything a physical gamer needs under the sun- decks, cards, maps, tabletop accessories, board games, etc. Highly recommend. It's a lot of fun.

I've got to share my 2025 experience. I would first like to thank Mr. Rob (the Manager) for his professionalism and understanding. I made a quick stop to wait on ride requests to appear on my app (I'm an Uber Driver) and I was instantly approached by a hostile female employee who mentioned me parking by the fire lane side. I informed the young girl that I was waiting on rides, and she temporarily left me alone. Little did I know, she was looking forward to confront me again and be combative. By this time, I was on the other side of the facility, asking a familiar cashier if they had any single holographic Pokémon Cards. The same heavy-set female abruptly made a scene calling me out in front of all the guests in the next-door room. I reinformed the girl that I said I was waiting on a ride. She must have thought she was a police officer or a military sergeant, because she was very determined to make an example out of me. She threatened and told me that I can't come back (as if she had administrative privileges or authority). I simply went outside to park the car in a regular spot and re-entered to speak to a manager present. I explained to him how the situation occurred and as a former Assistant Manager myself, I requested that he coach the employee, because her behavior was unacceptable. From my analyzation, she should not be considered for any higher positions, because this female would go on a power trip for sure. Everyone else treated me fairly after her episode. I was disgusted with her attitude towards me (I'm a 34-year-old black...

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I've been able to create great memories here and forge lasting friendships so this place has become more than "just a game store" to me. Games stores are one of the few places that facilitate building community and Giga-bites exceeds at that endeavor. They do such a great job at providing a place for people to meet up and feel welcome from all walks of life.

I find all the staff to be incredibly courteous, friendly and willing to help. If it's not on the shelf, it's easily obtained for you. The selection is absolutely incredible though when it comes to your hobby needs. Lots of game systems beyond Games Workshop are well represented and the store does a great job "championing" other systems. At the end of the day though, not all games thrive. Especially in this golden age of tabletop gaming where there is lots to compete for your attention.

Having a kitchen, access to snacks, drinks, coffee and beers is a huge bonus for me. There are times where after work I would rather get to the gaming table and eat while I game. It really adds to the experience and convenience for me. The food is quite good and the selection is great. While you won't get a gourmet meal, it's great to have something good to eat and not have to cram fast food down my gullet as I rush to meet up for games.

Last but not least, there are little things that make me a committed customer. When you ask for a cup of tea and the owner shares his Barry's Irish Tea with you, you know you have come to the...

This place is seriously great. I'm usually very shy when I go into places like this when I come in by myself. I felt a little awkward initially coming into the store, but I was very quickly and warmly welcomed when I approached the counter. The guys were very helpful and informative, letting me know the price of and the day that the polyhedral set I was looking for was coming in. I picked up the set the following Monday, with the guys even helping me pick out which color set to get. I came back in several days later to try out their food (which the reviews online said was excellent) and was very impressed with the freshness and quality of the Alfredo Chicken flatbread and strawberry mango smoothie I got. I sat down to eat and was quickly greeted by a fellow customer that was friendly and more than happy to teach me about how Magic works. I came back in tonight and was again greeted by two of the guys that first welcomed me into the store, Jon and John. I walked into the store about 8 o'clock, intending to only stay an hour or so. However, I ended up making a fast friend with another customer. Instead of staying an hour or so like I had planned, I ended up spending the night talking with her as well as Jon and John until closing at 11 o'clock! The employees and the customers are all immensely warm and accepting people, and the food is great to boot. The only warning I have is that you may end up spending all your free time here because it's such an awesome place. Needless to say, I think I will be...
