Waffle House Unit #479 delivers the quintessential Waffle House experience—but with a level of consistency, friendliness, and comfort that puts it in a league of its own. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted like a regular, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
The staff here doesn’t just take orders—they take care of you. The service is lightning-fast but never rushed. They remember your name, your order, and most importantly, they make you feel like family. The cooks? Masters of the flat top. Whether it’s your hash browns smothered, covered, and chunked, or the All-Star breakfast piled high and cooked to perfection, everything comes out hot, fresh, and exactly the way you want it.
What sets this location apart isn’t just the food (though the bacon is always crispy and the waffles always golden)—it’s the atmosphere. It’s that late-night buzz when the jukebox is humming and the coffee keeps flowing. It’s clean, welcoming, and always open when you need it most.
Unit 479 is what Waffle House was meant to be: simple, soulful, and unforgettable. Whether you’re fueling up after a night out or starting your morning with a stack of syrupy goodness, this location hits every note. A+ service, classic comfort food, and true Southern hospitality.
Highly recommend. If you’re passing through—or even if you’re not—make the detour. It’s...
Read moreWe came in and sat at the low bar by the register. 5 min. and no one came by, but they were busy. In the that time 2 people came and placed orders to go at the register. Next a couple sat down next to us, immediately a waitress came to give them silverware and take their order. We looked at each other but still waited. Another waitress came, grabbed something from behind the counter in front of us but never looked at us. Another couple sits at the end of the bar and the waitress rushes over to give them silverware and see if they were ready to order. At this point we stop her and ask if she is our waitress as she has helped every single person sitting at the bar but us and she snidly says no that's some one else's area and WALKS AWAY. Did not say I will get your waitress, or no but can I get you a drink, just walks off. Another waitress who saw this and even though it was not her seats, took our order, got us drinks and brought our food. I know this wasn't her area as she took our order on a napkin as to not right it up as her own ticket. Finally our real waitress walks by and drops the check in front of us, says here you go and walks off. I you have an issue with another coworker (which is what I think the problem may have been) it should never be taken out on...
Read moreMy husband just left from this location this morning 8/3/25 around 10:15 AM 10:30AM I’m trying to figure out why nobody is answering the phone I have hair in my plate and I refuse to touch it hair nets do exist and I need for the team to find one ASAP. But I’m on my way back and it need to be fixed.
I previously left a 1-star review because I had a really disappointing experience—there was hair in my food, and no one seemed to be wearing hairnets at the time, which made me feel uncomfortable and upset.
However, I have to give credit where it’s due. On my second visit, Ms. Chris, the manager, completely turned things around. She went above and beyond to make things right. Not only did she refund my money, but she also remade my entire order—and still didn’t charge me. She personally made sure everything was fresh, clean, and perfect just for me.
While I did notice that staff still weren’t wearing hairnets, Ms. Chris’s care, professionalism, and sincere effort to fix the situation meant a lot. I truly appreciate her kindness and how she made me feel valued as a customer. Thank you again, Ms. Chris—you changed my whole...
