The person that called me back lied to me, telling me my script was available since yesterday when the app said the script was on hold this morning. My provider called the script in on 8/12 and the app read the script would be available at 9 am today 8/13. This morning I checked the app and it read the script was on hold, which prompted my call to cvs. The woman that called me back would not let me speak and told me the script was on hold because it was listed as mail order. She said they cannot call their over 4,000 customers and tell them when a script was on hold. I tried to say I understood, but she would not let me speak. Kept saying the script had been available since yesterday. Secondly, I received a text at 9:59 stating the script was available, which was after my phone call. She lied, lied, lied!?!?!?!
My provider did not call the script in as a mail order script. It is a controlled substance and it cannot be mailed, my provider would never call it in as a mail order. While speaking to the cvs customer clerk, I opened the app and it was then available. How can the app say on 8/12 script would be available at 9 am on 8/13, then at 8:00 am on 8/13 the app says it is on hold.
When I would tried to talk to the cvs clerk, she kept cutting me off. When I was trying to continue to speak, she hung up on me. Very poor customer service.
I have to use CVS for scripts because my insurance mandates it, otherwise, I would not use CVS for prescriptions. They are so rude. They are understaffed
I have spoke to CVS customer service today.
I had to complain many times when I was required to use CVS because of insurance. I was so grateful in July of 2024 because we got new insurance and I would no longer have to use CVs for my many prescriptions, after decades of having to use CVS. Walgreen's in Herrin, IL did a phenomenal job filling my scripts and my dogs script. Unfortunately, I have retired as of 8/1, and have to once again use CVS. This is my first script getting filled and I already have problems....

It was an insurance switch I did not know that they didn’t take my new insurance so I asked to pay cash!!!!! And she refused to let me pay for my own prescription and also refused me Narcan……. I only asked for it to see if it was me and the type of medication and she also refused to sell me Narcan!!!! Blonde hair too much makeup 💄 and stuck up young Girl doesn’t care for ex Opiate addicts because she obviously carries a personal grudge!!!! Read more1 year ago I would have given CVS pharmacy a 5 star review. I don't even know what happened. They used to be very friendly and professional. I know everyone is stressed and pharmacy personnel have increased responsibilities due to COVID, but this is unreasonable. Every time I have needed a medication for weeks, it has said "in process" on the app for hours or even days and I have to call to get it filled. I have been lied to several times recently by staff. Today, it was over a medication that was needed by a family member today and I was told it was "being counted and would be ready in less than 1 hour". My husband went to pick it up an hour and 15 min later and it hadn't been started. We are required by our insurance to get our medications at this pharmacy or we would be taking our business elsewhere. We may anyway and just pay higher co-pays. I can't stand being lied to by people in...
