I typically have a good experience here but last weekend my family was here staying and they had to make a trip to the store. They came during the day and it was a pleasant experience. However when they had to stop in the evening as well and the woman working was really rude. She was acting like they were going to steal and made my grandson stand outside since he had a towel wrapped around him from swimming and not a shirt. While I get the whole no shirt thing he was covered in a towel! She was also really rude the entire time..It was a really bad experience for them, enough for them not to return...My kids didnt deserve the way they were treated that night....I am thinking because they were out of towners or because they had tattoos...who knows but not right, wish they would of gotten a name but it was an older woman with reddish hair...They did say the older woman during the day was...

Definitely a convenience store. It is convenient, but a lot of out-of-date items Or real close to out of date. Most of the employees are friendly. Not every one of them are, but most of them are okay. One example, they have cinnamon rolls, I've been sitting on the shelf forever because they're $7! $7! $7? Milk is about $5.50 last time I checked. You know I understand that this is a small town, but that doesn't change the fact that they are running people away from there and people are not going to shop there because of their prices! So at the end of the day, it might be convenient, definitely overpriced by 30-40%. Truth is, unless you're only buying a couple items, it's not worth buying in town, if you're buying more than a few things, it's better to go to a regular grocery store in a town a couple miles away. This is a 'small' business in that it is not a large chain that is rather nameless and faceless so the interactions don't feel so impersonal with the staff. They have great things to choose from that they make on site, like the many different types of deli dishes, like sides and deserts, as I have a special taking to rice pudding and purchase it everywhere I can, and theirs was not bad at all, I have worse from larger companies with worldwide distribution (I assume with quantity comes a cost...
