Styles on Broadway — Local services in Martin

Styles on Broadway is one of the best Salons you could ever visit. I always tell my friends how friendly and caring all the staff are. I guess you could say you are given the royal treatment. You are greeted by your name from the time you walk in the door until the time you leave. It is hard to tell which service I enjoy the most, hand massages while having my hair done, neck wraps, neck massages while at the shampoo bowl, entire body massage, pedicures, or having my nails done. Each one is relaxing. If you think you will get thirsty during your time with them, you have to try their delicious fruit tea! If you are searching for some pampering time, then Styles on Broadway is certainly the place to go!

Since I wrote the above post, Styles on Broadway has had major reconstruction. The entire time of the construction, the salon stayed open and trying to keep their clients happy despite some hammering going on. Their perfect service stayed the same. One's pampering stayed the same. I love how they made the entire salon more handicap access for some clients. They have shampoo bowls easier to get to and you don't have to go upstairs for manicures anymore because they are able to do them on the main floor also. I still tell people how great the service is. I love Mari and her staff! They are all the best! As the old saying goes, try it, you might like it. So try them because I know you will love them! New to Dyersburg is an exciting Styles on Broadway. They are located behind Wendy's and easy to find. The new salon has an open view of the outside which makes it easy for you to weather watch while getting your hair done. Your still greeted eagerly by the staff up on entering. Jessica, Shayna, Erica and the other girls do their magic on you. I love both Shoppe's and know that I wouldn't go wrong. My girls got me a gift certificate for a haircut and a facial for Mother’s Day. I went to Martin, TN, to fulfill the purpose. I decided to get a massage and nail treatment along with the facial and skip the haircut due to the downpour of rain. Styles on Broadway was filled with the most hospitable people and I was greeted so sweetly by Macy and Brooklyn. First, I got a massage done by Samantha who treated me, this overweight 72 year old lady, as if I were another college girl in this college town coming in for a massage . She touched on my concerns with my shoulders and neck and concentrated on those areas. It was great. Secondly, I met Jillian Thompson for my facial. Never have I ever had the experience of fingers dancing on my face to the music playing softly in the dimmed room with a warm table to lie on. She is an artist to the caliber of Rodin or Michelangelo. Ballet and Latin dancers crossed over my face, her fingers strummed as though she played on the harp strings. Her fingers were as playful children moving happily from cheek to cheek. Her fingers felt like they were a swaying pirates boat at an amusement park going back and forth. I don’t drink alcohol but I felt intoxicated from the facial. I fell asleep and woke up to my snoring. And finally, my nails were painted by Brooklyn who gave me my first gel treatment. What a delightful young lady she is! We discussed our favorite bands and what generation we are in. If you got to the end of my review, then you’re seriously considering going to Martin. I look forward to my next appointment to get my hair done. The rain finally stopped and I was headed to The Grind where I ate the most delicious tacos. Yum. Then I ended my trip at the Donut...

I got a manicure with regular polish. It’s the best manicure I’ve ever had!! Thanks LaShonda!! The place was so clean and comfortable. She offered me a hot towel for my neck, when I said I run hot, she offered me a cold one. Also, their regular polish lasted longer than any gel polish I’ve had before. The nail tech was calm and quiet, which I need when I’m away from the kids. She asked me about the shape and length. I had time to pick the color and she helped me look at similar ones. She took her time and you could tell that she cared. The result was a beautiful shape with nice clean lines and polish that covered the whole nail. My mother’s gel polish looked great too! Props to the other tech as well. I don’t usually get manicures, but she made me wanna get more. My nails lasted over 2 1/2 weeks in the sun, ocean, and pool with two kids under two!
