WOODFIRE PIZZA KITCHEN – MARTIN, TN Here’s the truth… Most places overpromise and underdeliver. This one didn’t. From the moment we sat down, we knew this wasn’t just another pizza joint trying to ride the woodfire trend. Let’s start with the appetizers. The Sweet Bomb Bruschetta showed up like it meant business. Crispy, golden bread — perfectly toasted — served on a wooden plank that just looked right. Not overdone. Just real. The olive oil was light, not greasy. And the bruschetta? Ridiculously fresh. Like someone stepped out back, picked the tomatoes, and tossed them straight in the bowl. The kind of fresh that makes you pause between bites because you’re already thinking about the next one. Then we tried the Farmer’s Charcuterie. If you’ve ever doubted charcuterie boards, this one will convert you. The flatbread alone could hold its own on the menu. But pair it with that strawberry fig jam… and you’ll start wondering if they sell it by the jar. (They should.) Now let’s talk pizza. We split a 12-inch — half Hillbilly Hawaiian, half Tennessee Humidity. The crust had that perfect char you only get from a woodfire oven handled by someone who actually cares. The Hillbilly Hawaiian had a sweet-savory thing going thanks to brown sugar bacon and pineapple. But the Tennessee Humidity? That one brought the flavor — pepperoni, jalapeños, and just the right amount of honey drizzle. Sweet. Spicy. Balanced. Here’s the bottom line: If you’re anywhere near Martin, this place is worth the trip. Real ingredients. Real care. And food that actually delivers. Highly recommended

Absolutely blown away!! After moving to TN from the northeast where arguably the best pizza in the country is made (NYC and New Haven), I have been looking for good pizza and have constantly been disappointed. Last night I did not find just good pizza...I found absolutely amazing pizza!! From the crust to the sauce and toppings, the pizza at Woodfire Pizza Kitchen rivals that of some well respected pizza joints back home. This place is exactly what I've been looking for. We ordered the hillbilly Hawaiian and I couldn't get enough of it. And the hushfruppies just might be my new favorite appetizer anywhere. Also, in addition to myself having high standards for pizza and loving it, my girlfriend's daughter who just might be the pickiest eater (and light eater) I know, said her sausage pizza was the best pizza she has ever had and proceeded to eat nearly half of her 12" pizza. Oh, and they brew their own beer!!! I tried the Amber Lager and it was really quite excellent! It paired very well with the pinball arcade upstairs! If i hadn't been told the place only opened a little over a month ago, I'd never had guessed it. The kitchen was on point and the staff was working like a well piled machine. Very well done y'all! We WILL be back regularly!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Woodfire Pizza Kitchen is an absolute gem! If you’re looking for the best pizza in town, this is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The pizza was exceptional – we tried the Tennessee Humidity, My Aunt Lou-Shele, Kenn-Tenn Folk Margherita, and Dad's Favorite - all were perfection. The crust was crispy, the sauce was rich, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The Green Goddess sauce & Mike's Hot Honey are excellent additions. As for the appetizers... they were even better than I expected! We tried the Chicken Friend Mozz, Chicken Tenders with Hot Honey Mustard, Fired Up Cheese Garlic Knots, and Big Bean Hummus. They were all so good we couldn't pick a favorite. We finished with the Butter Pecan Peach Pies and they were the best fried pies we've ever had! Truly indulgent perfection. Service was friendly, and everything came out hot and fresh. We'll definitely be coming back. Woodfire Pizza Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving high-quality pizza with bold flavors!

My kids have been begging to eat here since they first opened, but since it was a new restaurant, I made them wait, to try and give the place a change to get into their groove and work the kinks out. It seems we didn't wait long enough. I've heard a lot of positive reviews, so we fully expected to leave with a new restaurant on our list of favorites, but it just didn't live up to the expectations. A friend brought me a leftover slice of the Aunt Lou-Shele pizza a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing, so we knew going in what pizza we were going to order. And we've heard so much about the chicken-fried mozz that we wanted to try it as well. I don't know if the pizza was pulled from the oven too soon, or if it just sat in a cold spot in the oven (if that's even possible) but it reached our table as a mess. The cheese was cooked nicely, and smelled amazing, but the dough was almost raw. My 7-year-old, who will eat anything that even resembles pizza, wouldn't touch it after the first bite. We mentioned the issue to our waitress, who said she would see about remaking the pizza, but when she didn't return for 25 minutes, we gave up and went elsewhere. As for the chicken-fried mozz, I couldn't tell you a thing about it - we never received it. When the pizza was brought to the table, the waitress made a big show of telling us how busy she had been, and was working sooo hard, and explained that she must have forgotten it. We told her not to even worry about it at that point. This was such a disappointing experience. We knew we were going to love this place as much as we love Sammy's and The Grind, but we left after receiving undercooked food, being ignored by our waitress, and paying over $50 while not eating. A side note: I"m pretty sure we were still charged for the chicken-fried mozz we...

OK, Woodfire Pizza Kitchen is awesome. I’m sorry I haven’t tried them sooner. We wanted to give our kitchen a break and have an informal night out to unwind. WPK was the perfect spot. The atmosphere reminded me of a sports bar but without all the TVs and chaos. The owner definitely kept the historic vibe of the building. And not any if the seedy dive bar vibe the place had when it was the Stables. If you like bruschetta for an appetizer, you won’t go wrong ordering it here. Go ahead and ask for extra crostini (which were toasted perfectly) up front. The serving was beautifully presented and large and just right for two. 10/10 definitely recommend. The Tennessee Humidity pizza was amazing. I won’t tell you all of the ingredients, but this pie had just the right amount of heat mixed with just the right amount of sweet. I don’t know if it was the scratch made pizza sauce or the perfect crunch of the crust from the woodfire oven. But we just couldn’t get enough. I’m sure all of the pizzas are that delicious, but the Tennessee Humidity is my new favorite. To finish the night, the peach fried pies were perfect. If you don’t try these, you’re only cheating yourself. Our waitress was super friendly and she definitely earned her tip. All the waitstaff appeared to be college-aged and enthusiastic. There was a huge party from a recent peewee baseball game and the waitresses were so good with the kids who had their own table. We didn’t go upstairs to the bar and pinball lounge this time but it’s on our to-do list for a future excursion. All-in-all it was a perfect dining experience for a much needed night out on the town. You college kids who need to decompress and splurge a little, the...

Woodfire Pizza in Martin, TN is a total hidden treasure! From the second you walk through the door, you’re greeted with an inviting, upbeat atmosphere and some of the friendliest service you’ll find anywhere. The staff truly make you feel right at home—they’re attentive, personable, and genuinely passionate about making your dining experience top-notch.

The decor is spot-on, with a warm and rustic vibe downstairs that feels both modern and cozy. But the real surprise? Head upstairs to their 80’s-themed bar, and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped straight into a time machine! Neon lights, retro décor, and an awesome collection of pinball machines and vintage arcade games—it’s the ultimate throwback hangout. Perfect for date nights, family fun, or just kicking back with friends and reliving the golden days of the arcade era.

And let’s get to the food—the pizza is absolutely phenomenal. Wood-fired to perfection, each bite delivers a perfect blend of crispy, chewy crust with fresh, flavorful toppings. They clearly take pride in every pizza that comes out of the oven. And the appetizers? Every single one is a knockout. From their addictive fire'd up cheese n' garlic knots to perfectly seasoned house made meat balls and many more creative small plates, it’s impossible to pick a favorite because they’re all THAT good.

Woodfire Pizza has nailed it—delicious food, unbeatable service, and a fun, nostalgic atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. Whether you’re there for pizza, drinks, or to rack up a high score on pinball, this place delivers across the...
