Astro 3 Theatre — Local services in Marysville

Great establishment! In addition to the movies we go here on Thursday afternoons for the local chess club, which they host free of charge and provide beverages for. In addition to this the Astro 3 regularly host special events and viewings such as watching the Super Bowl, free of charge. In my experience they allow you to bring your own snacks and drinks and don't try to pressure you into purchasing concessions from them at inflated prices like most other theatres I've attended. As far as the facility goes, it's always clean and well kept and has new movies in regularly. The newly restored Rex Theater in Clay Center is in my opinion a must see. I had been in it before the renovations began and was amazed at the original (early 1900,s) architecture that they found and restored. They brought a slowly dying theater back to life. The sound and movies are great but if nothing else I recommend taking a tour just to see the fantastic architecture...
