Advance Auto Parts — Local services in Mason

A huge shout out to Sean and Cheyenne at the Advance Auto in Mason West Virginia. Unfortunately, we broke down on our way home from Florida. We got to the store just before they closed. Sean helped us with a list of parts that we needed and lent us some shop tools. We were running out of time before the store was closing. He waited to see if we could get it fixed before leaving for the night. He waited with us until 11:30! He sat and waited two and a half hours for us. Gave up on his own time to try to help us get back on the road. We were unable to fix it and needed another part. Sunday morning Cheyenne came in and was able to get us the part we needed and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything else. We were able to get everything fixed and get back on the road and back home. I can’t say how amazing it was to encounter two very selfless people in a time of need. We were 8 hours from home with a car full of kids on a weekend. Sean and Cheyenne were kind and generous people. In a crazy world that we live in we are so thankful to cross their path. Advance Auto should be very proud of them. They are great representation for your company. We will forever be grateful for the kindness you showed us. Thank you from the bottom...

I had a troubling experience at Advance Auto Parts in Mason, WV (29 Mallard Ln). I waited in line for 20 minutes for a simple product i had in my hand, even the customer ahead of me left after 20 minutes. During that time, an employee was told to go to the back and stock shelves, by the woman managing the front, who spent most of her time flirting with a male customer instead of helping those waiting. This display of favoritism and poor prioritization left me frustrated and devalued. Customer service should be the priority—even basic professionalism was missing...

I buy parts online to save cash. Whenever I have a question about a part i call them and they help me with any questions or concerns i have about it before i buy them online. Another good thing about them even though I get the parts online if i don't need it or it's not the right one i can just return it to the store and they refund the money...
