Bob Evans — Restaurant in Mason

Waitress took order and brought us drinks and no Splenda as requested. Took her a while to come back to take order. Took our order and still no Splenda so I asked again politely. I understand being busy and getting side tracked. Finally, after a while she brought the Splenda and one set of silverware, we needed two. We waited 45 minutes and our order was still not brought to us. There was a very lively older woman who was at next table clearing it so I asked her if she could ask our waitress abt our food. She asked our waitress and also came back to refill our drinks. I thanked her and apologized for having to ask her to help us. The food finally came out and was brought by the older lady. The food was cold and what we ordered was wrong. Still no silverware lol. Finally got order and the one meal was cold, didn’t have cheese on it, and had maybe a tablespoon of hash browns with it. Second meal was cold, got home fries instead of hash browns, white toast instead of sourdough toast and no sausage. I asked for salt and pepper and silverware. I like home fries as well so I didn’t care that I got them instead. I took one bite and they tasted rotten. I couldn’t eat them and was just frustrated by this time. So one hour and 15 minutes for eggs, hash browns, toast, and sausage and still left without eating. The waitress we had Only had One other table besides us and didn’t understand how so many things could be wrong and not knowing we needed silverware without being asked. To get both orders wrong is quite a skill of not being able to do her job. The older lady was awesome and I felt so bad having to ask her to check on our food and bring us the things we needed. Just wanted to thank her and let the other waitress know how poor of a job she did and mason bob evans lost...

This place is a joke and I will absolutely never go back. So we ordered a steak well done with broccoli and macaroni and cheese and we ordered the roast with the carrots and mashed potatoes. My carrots were still hard like barely even cooked so they took them back. But when they brought them back out to me they were probably only halfway done so at that point I had just asked for a to go container so I can could come home and microwave them myself. Then with the steak Not only was it not done it was raw on the inside like almost Jello texture on the inside and the macaroni and cheese was extremely dry but the steak got sent back, it came out the second time still pink. At that point our waiter came out and said the manager was comimg out to talk to us, mind you we didn't even ask for a Manger. So she comes over and thats when we realized the steak was still pink. So the manager says we can make it again, so we send the steak back a 3rd time but than just asked for it to be put in a to go box. The manager knew they messed up and only offered to make it again. But to have to send the roast plate back twice and the carrots still arent done and to send the steak back 3 time really is just aggravating at that point and you are no longer hungry especially after sitting there and waiting time and time again. Like I said this place is a damn joke. Won't...

my wife and I came in and ordered food..she SPECIFICALLY said no onions of any kind on her food or in her food: food comes and what do you know...ONIONS.. ON TOP AND IN her food ..told the waitress and she took her plate, went around the corner and picked the onions off the top. brought it back to the table. wife begins to pick thru her food and there were onions mixed in the dish! ive worked in kitchens all my life and ive never done this to anyone...what if my wife had a food allergy!? the waitress took the plate back and returned to tell us that the onions come as a premix of veggies. thats fine, but why didnt u suggest something else when my wife asked for no onions? just very unprofessional...i sat and ate my food while we waited on her food...wasnt charged for the first plate but didnt receive a discount or anything for her mess up since we had to basically eat separately...not a good visit at all! wife says she wont return, so you lost 2 customers instead of...
