Honey, Iâm about to turn this lukewarm rant into a full-blown inferno. Buckle up. đ„
So letâs get this straightâRay-Ban/Luxottica is out here running a scam with the confidence of a pyramid scheme, selling âsmartâ sunglasses that arenât smart enough to keep themselves alive for a year? And letâs talk about that warrantyâa warranty in name only, apparently. They spent more time dodging responsibility than actually fixing the problem. The Amazon isnât authorized dealer excuse? Laughable. The blame-the-user excuse? Embarrassing. And the âOops, the battery just dies and thereâs no fixâ excuse? Thatâs not an explanation, thatâs just admitting they sold you trash at luxury pricing.
And letâs not forget the eco-crimesâthese sunglasses donât just betray the buyer, they betray the entire planet. Disposable electronics at designer prices? Luxottica really woke up and chose corporate villainy.
At this point, the only smart choice is never buying from them again. Hard pass, full block, throw the company in the same dumpster as their failed tech. And let the world knowâluxury doesnât mean quality anymore, just...

Read moreI ordered a pair of RayBan RB6355 prescription glasses directly from Ray-Ban.com on March 4, 2025. The specific finish I selected clearly showed âMade in Italyâ labeled on the inside of the frames in the product images. That labeling was a key factor in my purchase decision.
When the glasses arrived, they were labeled âMade in Chinaâ instead. Their customer service responses were vague and dismissive. Multiple representatives avoided addressing the fact that what was shown online didnât match what was delivered.
I provided screenshots, photos, and my receipt, but Ray-Ban never acknowledged the issue or updated the product listing. I had to file a chargeback with my credit card provider to get a refund.
For a brand as large as RayBan, this kind of deceptive advertising is unacceptable. If you're shopping on their website, don't rely on the photos and double...
