Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Mason

This particular location, with the staff there at lunchtime, did not function efficiently AT ALL. Our order was taken, but there was no one at the register to pay.... For a full 5 minutes. When I asked the guys assembling the sandwiches 'who should we pay' I got a Curt answer that they'd 'be with me in a minute'. There were 6 other people standing waiting for their food. My friend got the teriyaki chicken--it was burnt on the edges. When they brought the food to the table my friend said 'I'd like it to not be burnt' the worker answered 'that's just the teriyaki sauce. Ok... You know what burnt looks like, but you know what it SMELLS like, right. We are not an idiot. I ordered the Italian sub. It had 16 (yes, I counted) small red onion rings on it. About half a cup shredded lettuce, a couple banana peppers, 4 slices Roma tomato, then--under the melted cheese--there might have been two or three small pieces of meat. I could not tell which was pepperoni, which was ham, which was cappicola. When I was prodding my sandwich (during the time my friend was talking about the burnt edges on his) the worker asked how was my sandwich. I said I was trying to find the meat... somewhere. She offered to make the sandwiches again. ARE YOU KIDDING? I blame management here. They were either not properly trained, or they were understaffed. The Penn Station on Cheviot Road in White Oak, near me, has fabulous subs prepared perfectly! They get slammed too... The store is less than 1/8 of a mile from LaSalle high school. Your not feeding a group of businessmen, it's literally a horde of...

Terrible experience . Ordered two Philly cheesesteak sandwiches with banana peppers , onions and mushrooms and mayo .Only to get two sandwiches with Meat and cheese . Called them up and explained the situation. Went in the manager argued with me . Told me he wouldn’t refund one sandwich because we ate it (husband had to get to work) and was extremely rude about the situation. He Stated that it wasn’t his fault and that he wanted to know what i wanted him to do about it. Asked if he could remake mine and the fry’s and credit my husbands and that I didn’t get my drink. He proceeded to roll his eyes and give attitude . Once the sandwich And fries were made , I then left with no lemonade and no credit to my husbands food. Got back to work , the sandwich was extremely greasy and had hair in the sandwich . Will never eat at that location again. Very poorly...

I would like to start this review by saying that for a period of time, I was a frequent Penn Station customer. Today's visit wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. The restaurant was clean, the service was prompt, and the food was delivered quickly. We ordered:

Lemonade 🍋- this was prepared well, tasty, a little on the sweet side (4.5/5 🌟)

Club - this was missing something, and I can't figure it out. The meat tasted slightly over cooked. (3/5 🌟)

Pizza 🍕sub - this had great flavor, but the execution of toppings was not ideal. All the meat and cheese was piled together. The meet also seemed overcooked (3.5/5 🌟)

Frys - much to my dismay, these came out cold 🥶 and seemed to have been sitting awhile. (1/5 🌟 ) when fresh, these are a 5.

I will eat Penn...
