This is a great family owed business that has been in the same location for almost a hundred years. They have everything you can imagine that you would find in a harware store, plus a lot of things that you probably haven't seen in a long time. Shopping there is like walking into a time capsule! The staff is super friendly and always helpful. You can actually just hand them a list, and they will retrieve all of the items for you. This type of customer service is unheard of today. It reminds me of the way businesses use to be when I was a child, fifty years ago, long before Lowe's shut down the Mom and Pop stores. This business is a gem in the community that provides a much needed service. Without your support they will eventually go away, like so many others. Next time you need supplies for a project, or just need a rake or water hose, go by and see Marcus or Chip at Oswalt's, and bring your children too.
