Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on this most beautiful of islands - not to be missed. Spend twenty minutes hiking down to see the sacred pools and where the fresh water meets the ocean. Spend two hours hiking inland (up) to experience an otherworldly bamboo forest, ultimately ending up at Waimoku Falls - another not-to-be-missed spot. Please be respectful of the land and of the...

Cool place to visit if you drive past Hana town. Don't let anyone tell you it is called Seven Sacred Pools, as there are far more than 7 and all fresh water was sacred to the early Hawaiians. It can go from a dribble to a torrent when there is heavy rains up slope. There is camping just east of here and a great...

Bummer they won't let tourists down to swim anymore. If you've seen the black beach skip this (unless you're hiking the bamboo forest AND already have a National Park Pass. Not sure this is...
