Wish knew more about how warn people how bad a place is. My wife and I stopped in with our 3 grandkids to get boiled peanuts and souvenirs at 130p today(8/04/18). I had to use the bathroom and asked a young man 15-20 something if they had a bathroom. He started laughing (I think he was stoned) and laid his head face down on the counter for maybe 10 seconds then slowly raised his head back up and just stared at me. After a moment he said your about the 100th person to ask me that today. Then he just stared at me until I finally asked him "well what is the answer ". He said go out the door toward the blue sign and make a left. There was no blue sign outside but a restaurant next door had one. Kid did the same thing to my wife while I was next door. If the kid is not family he should fired. If he is, I hope his parents are old fashion and they see this post.

Not Cyclist Friendly – Disrespectful Service

Visited on May 10, 2025, and was met with rudeness and disrespect. I brought in my bike—which is high value—and mentioned I wasn’t comfortable leaving it outside. The man behind the counter (long hair, glasses) mocked the cost of my bike and laughed about it with another customer. When I asked if this is how they treat paying customers, he argued instead of resolving the situation. I said, “Peace and love, brother,” and he told me, “You’re done. Stop talking.”

As a cyclist and someone visiting with deep respect for this island, it was disappointing to be treated this way. Every other place I’ve visited on this trip has shown nothing but kindness and aloha....

TOURISTS BEWARE: while waiting in line at Leoda's someone had scanned my credit card. While my husband was in the car waiting with our kid, he coincidentally observed guys letting eachother in & out of the liquor store and the Farmer's Market employee areas. A few mins after pulling out of that parking lot, there was over $2,500 charged to my card mostly from this Farmer's Market (Kooser Market & BNA tabacco). Also a small charge at Leoda's (im assuming a test charge). There's definitely something sketchy going on between this business and the...
