I’m a sucker for fish tacos and find the locations on Oahu lacking where I live. But I saw that Fish Tacos El Blue not only have 5 star ratings but had a good number of them as well. That’s very telling in itself so we had to try them when we visited Maui.

Arrived right at opening and received a very warm welcome as they were finishing setting up. Took the time to explain many of their menu items which is simple but I’d say a perfect balance. My family opted for a variety of their tacos and burritos. We ate the Baja Mahi Mahi fish taco, Baja Shrimp Taco, XL Carne Asada Taco, and Baja Burrito. Also sampled a few of their salsas from their salsa bar.

Food was excellent… all of it! My burrito with lime and spicy guac salsa was so tasty with fresh ingredients and spices, made me wish I was back in my younger days and I could pound down another one. If I lived locally, I would make a stop every day just to have a different item from the menu.

Simply fantastic food and wonderful people. Happy for their early success and love to support local businesses, especially given the hardships of the community in the past few years. Wish we had...

If I could give you guys 10 stars I would, we had had a morning of snorkeling and kayaking. Our next pit stop was some tacos... we just so happen to stop here. Ordered the mah mahi fish tacos, Tecate burrito is had steak and shrimp and fries, the last burrito I can't remember the name but it had shrimp and fish. The burritos were monstrous, the flavors of the sauce, the protien all very well seasoned. The salsa ranchera was authentic Mexican level salsa. If you're on 30 and headed to the farmers market, these tacos will hit the spot. The tortillas, the cabbage, the side of onions, holy moly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You craving some authentic Mexican tacos go check out these guys they...

Seriously the BEST fish tacos on the island!! The shrimp tacos and the carne asada tacos are also amazing! My son loved the carne asada tacos! Owners Juan & Vanessa and their Ohana do a great job and provide a wonderful experience with some of the best customer service around!!! I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service on the island, especially in a place that depends so heavily on tourism, but here that was not the case at all! I don’t think I could recommend more strongly, if you are in Maui it is an ABSOLUTE MUST STOP!! I tried every fish taco from Napili through Kahaloui and Kihei, and HANDS DOWN Chef Juan makes the BEST!!! Prices are amazing, and food is out...

During our Maui adventure, we stumbled upon this amazing hidden gem! As we were driving back from the airport, we spotted a food truck that caught our eye. We quickly turned the car around, and boy, was that the best decision! The owners greeted us with big smiles and gave us some great recommendations. My husband really wanted octopus, and they whipped up a special octopus cocktail instead of shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. I opted for the carne asada tacos, which were seriously mouthwatering. This meal instantly became a favorite during our trip—we loved it so much that we went back for seconds. If you're in Maui, make sure to check out Fish Tacos El Blue. You won't be disappointed!
