You expect the norm at any Wal-Mart and this one is, pleasantly, the norm. During these times you need any normalcy you can get and that's what Wal-Mart is. It's great to see the hustle-bustle, the recently stocked Fall, Thanksgiving and Xmas decor, it gave me an anticipation for the holiday season. This particular one didn't feel over crowded even though the parking lot was completely full. What does this tell me ? There was a good flow at the cash register, and there was. There weren't lines of more than three people, they were getting us in and out and all of the cashiers were so pleasantly courteous, not to mention, efficient. But let me back up. The moment I got to the store, I was greeted, there were carts available, sanitizer, everyone had masks on. There is a huge sign in front of the store above the doors about the mandatory use of masks. The shelves were organized and we'll stocked, there was less just where expected, in a couple of the grocery aisles. There was always an employee out on the floor and around doing their job and that was great for the couple of questions I had. The important thing is that this particular Wal-Mart is consistent. You always know you can get what you want and what to expect. So, kudos to the store manager, the department managers and each and every employee in the chain of command circle because it takes a team effort and this team is a well...
Read moreMy brother went to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy in Wal-Mart. He went with his wheelchair and then transfer to an electric chair from the store. He made some purchases from the food area and when he finished, my husband took the wheelchair and put it in the car. Then he parked in front of the store. My brother was on his way to the car and the security guard stop him and told him not to take the electric chair out. My brother told him that the car was right in front and he could see it. The security guard did not want to listened an ordered my brother to go back. Then my husband had to take out my brother wheelchair from the car to pick up my brother who has an amputee leg, then a shopping car for the items my brother bought. The attitude of the security guard (Marquez), towards people with disabilities was very nasty, insensitive and overbearing. After all my husband was going to put the electric wheelchair back after put my brother in the car that was in front of the...
Read moreBuyers beware: Items are priced higher in store than when scanned with the app and they don’t honor prices. If you scan an item with the Walmart app, check the item twice before you ring them out at the register. Their price match guarantee is non existent in PR, even though an item scans at a lower price and you show it to the clerks- they will not honor it and that’s wrong and they should be penalized with consumer affairs. I found out today after living for so long in the states and having this price discrepancy issue resolved quick. It’s a shame that Walmart does this and when you call them out you are in the wrong for watching out for your rights as the consumer. Do yourself a favor and shop in local supermarkets and forget these big chain stores….what they are doing is totally wrong and such a discriminatory practice overpricing stuff in PR and announcing a lower price when item is...
